It is claimed that you learn something new every day. Lets put that theory to the test. Learnt anything new or interesting or helpful today?

Today I learned that rolling magical cigarettes with a papercut on your thumb hurts like fuck.

I learned that 2 + 2 = 5 for extremely large values of 2.

I learned that a female donkey is called a jenny.

I learned that some people like to sleep past 3 PM.

I learned that some bars dare sell shots of really cheap vodka during parties for about 9 shekels (a bit over $2) when I know a bottle of that really cheap vodka costs about 25 shekels (about $6).

Seriously, you don't seel stuff that cheap at parties. That's a total rip off. And Runt is quoted.

I learned that actually yes, a million screaming fangirls CAN be wrong.

I learnt that my name's really Noddy.

I learned that my huge pile of empty DVDs was just stashed in the closet beneath the computer, I didn't need to go out and buy a new one.

Today I learned that once window fitters have 'accidently' broken one window, they might aswell shatter all the others.

oh, i also learned that just because they're tap dancing on tables in public cafeterias doesn't mean they don't have feelings too.

I learned that rum is denser than beer and will stay in a shot glass once you drop it into a glass full of said beer!

Today I learned that build-it-yourself furniture from Target is not of the highest quality.

Today I learned that some GE dishwashers don't have gaskets sealing the entire door, thereby causing them to leak water and suds on the kitchen floor.

That's similar to popular bar hussle, mainly with Whiskey and Water. It's a good way to get a free drink.

Basically, you get two shot glasses, one with whiskey and one with water. Then get a bogstandard ID card or drivers lisence, lay it on the top of the water glass, then carefully place the lisence on the top of the whiskey glass. The density of the water will push the whiskey into the top glass as the water pours into the bottom glass.
