1.Be respectful of your teacher and other students. This is a given. See warnings for the consequences. No one here is 'better' than anyone else based on their experience or level on the staff ranking. Admins will respect students in the way that students respect admins. Enough said.

2. Only sign up for ONE class at a time. I know that the rules may be different at other academies, but if we have students in 2 or 3 different classes and students applying who aren't in any classes at all, we are going to get an overflow of students and we want to teach as many people as possible.

3. Post your absence of over five days on the absent board. Self explanatory. Even if you're going to go camping for six days, then you NEED to post. We can see that you are in-active, and you might be warned or deleted. This helps the admins keep the site running smoothly without confusion about in-active members and staff.

4. You must be active at least once every five days to be in a class. We only accept dedicated students, and our program is such that the classes won't last for more than a month. We expect you to be active, complete lessons, and comply with your teachers in order to learn and move forward. Again, we make exceptions for vacations and people who post on the absent board, but just keep in mind your RL schedule when applying for a class.

5. Be honest. This includes being honest about the level you should be in (don't try and be modest by saying that you are a beginner while you already have a basic understanding of your program, but don't get carried away with how much you know), the amount of work in your RL if you're going to be less active (don't worry, we'll understand if you can't be as active occasionally), and telling the admins about any disrespect in the staff or with other members. Honesty is very important in our student body and with everyone involved to make this academy run smoothly and keep the students and teachers from getting burned out by overwork.

6. Warnings: three warnings and you're out. Any extreme disrespect, rude behaviour or violation of the rules (i.e. applying for multiple classes at the same time) is a warning. We won't hate you if you get a warning, it's just a reminder. YOU WILL GET BANNED FROM HALF A PANDA FOR ANY HARASSMENT BASED ON SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE, OR RELIGION.
