Lately, I've been of the mind that if Phoenix was ever bombed or what have you, either I'll be dead; or I'll survive and start my way over to Safeway and get some free food and drink! -------------------- My Pics

When hurricane Isabel came through, we didn't have power for 14 days(power bill was the same amount as usual, though). So, we always have a lot of water stored in the basement. The pantry is always full of canned foods,we could easily go without shopping for a long time. The BOBs are geberally kept in our vehicles, kind of Get Me Home Bag. NOT SURE ABOUT MRES. BUT THIS IS THE STUFF I HAVE IN MY BAG. AND ITS GOOD FOR 5 YEARS

NO HAVEN'T TRIED THEM. GOING TO WAIT A COUPLE MONTHS BEFORE THEY EXPIRE TO DO THAT
