I like the Talley Trio and BFA. I've heard of Tony Gore & Majesty, but I don't think I've ever heard them in person. I forgot about Karen Peck & New River, too many good ones. But TT & BFA are my favorites.

I like TG&M too.. but one of my all time favorite trios is a group from here in Lake City, called the Mercy Mountain Boys. Those 3 guys have become very dear friends to me. And the tenor singer - Donny Weatherford (don't know if he's related to the Singing Weatherfords or not) LOVES picking on my mom. He is ALWAYS giving her a hard time.... LOL
They are branching out, going different places around the country. They even recently played in Talladega!! So if they happen to come to your area, go see them. They are a mix of country-gospel, bluegrass, and comedy... lol Tell em I sent ya! maybe if enough people do that... they will finally give me that free CD they've been telling me they were gonna give me .... :rof: |
