What does your ScreenName mean?

Well I'm not here in my review of the list either, but it was great to read all the posts.

My name, Presh is short for Precious. I've used Precious on every board I've ever been a part of.

Here's the sturry...

I went to a Mark Lowry concert years ago and was fortunate enough to be on the front row. It was an outside concert and during the hot summer of North Carolina.

Mark was using a towel to wipe his face with and when he was done he would walk over to the monitor at the end of the stage and lay his towel on it.

The first time he did it, it slid off and on to the ground. Ewww, I thought, that's not good. It's getting dirty and he won't know where it is. So, I reached down where it was not far from me and went to go put it back.

He saw me and somehow, very quickly worked me into his routine (much to my horror).. "Aw, isn't that precious" he said. I laughed and quickly went back to my seat.

Not too long after, Mark went to get that towel and wipe his face off. Carried it around with him and then went and laid it on the monitor.

Slid right off and onto the ground. "No way. Not again." I thought. Now though, as soon as it happened, people were looking at me and expecting me to get it. I hesitated but decided 'Why not.'

What Mark wasn't realizing is that the back of the monitor was angled and that is why it kept sliding off. I thought it best to point it out to him as I boldly handed the towel back.

"Aw, isn't that precious" came the now familiar phrase. He stopped the show and we proceeded to converse; he from the stage, me from the dark of night in front of the monitor. "You need to be careful. The back slants back and the towel will fall." I explained.

Laughter at Mark's facial interpretations and solemn promise to keep the towel on the ground were hilarious.

I never wanted to get back to my seat so fast!

The rest of the concert went by without further mishap. Afterwards I wanted to say hello and get an autograph. As I approached Mark said, "Hello Precious"...

... and it stuck. :)

LOL, and that's our "PRECIOUS."


I think all the stories are good. Wish I knew where my screenname came from....I'm having a 'sometime' moment here. LOLOLOL
