Physical description: A mithran male of average height and weight, Hellequin has a few distinguishing features. His eyes are lavender with flecks of silver, not white but actual metallic silver. His hair is white. On his back is an elaborate tattoo which is in fact his family's coat of arms. He has three long scars running down and through his left eye, while not impairing his vision, he is ashamed of his scars and wears a red and white harlequin mask, letting only his mouth and eyes show. His enchanting eyes show signs of madness and intelligence. (At the bottom are pictures of his mask and his tattoo)

Personality: Obsessed with spiders, death and magic. His obsession and devotion to his sister borders on a somewhat unrequited incestuous relationship. He thinks everyone is out to take his beautiful sister away from him. She is his "spider." He loves her without a doubt. His mind was shattered after his services to a Soul Flayer. He talks to himself of spiders and death, or laughs loudly for no reason. When he speaks to others it is in a gentle soft manner.

Background: "My name, is Hellequin Szarkai. I am looking for my sister, my twin sister. And when I do, those who've captured her will die in a most unpleasant way." Born under the name Phaephrin Szarkai, Hellequin lived a terrible childhood. His father was unknown to him. His mother blamed him for her love's disappearance and repeatedly beat the young Hellequin, locking him in the cupboard under the stairs or forcing him to sleep on the streets. The only peace he found was in the gentle arms of his twin sister. Minryn, which he loved unquestioningly. His Father ran out on the them after the mother gave birth to the twins, seeing it as a bad omen

When Hellequin was old enough he ran away from home and began training as a thief. When he was skilled enough he came back and killed his mother while she was sleeping. Minryn watched with horror as her brother killed the woman who helped bring them into this world and ran out of the house. Hellequin took pursuit but lost her in the dark streets. He searched for her among the crowds when the sun rose but, had little success. Days turned to weeks, weeks to months, and months to years without contact with his sister. He was later captured by a Soul Flayer who was looking for slaves and thought the mithra would be perfect for getting into the tight places where he sought treasure. for 6 years this went on. Being dominated through the powers of the soul flayer destroyed what was left of Hellequin's Sanity. One night while his tormentor was asleep, Hellequin ran off into the shadows. He made a living as an assassin, slaughtering those he could for any bit of money. One day he heard a rumor that a young woman looking remarkably like his sister was captured by a psychotic tarutaru mage. After travelling the known world, ending up in places like the Gusgen Mines, Horutoto Ruins and the Bostaunieux Oubliette. Only finding traces of the taru's presence he finally went to the Alzadaal Undersea Ruins. Cornering the little mage he asked very politely. "Are you the one who has my dear Spider?"

Naturally this rumor was false. Hellequin had to find out that this taru was nothing more than a delusional moron. Even saying so to said taru. A fight broke out between the two, ultimately ending in the taru's death and no answers. As he searches the taru's lab he cam across some kind of creature. It looks like a Hound but was more humanoid than that. "You reek of death, and magic..." He unlocked the creature's cage and proceeded to watch for a while before leaving the destroyed lab,

"Dear, dear Minryn... I'll find you, and I'll kill the ones who have you. The hell I send them to will seem like Paradise after what I've done to them."
