Screen name: Falhurst
Character name: Falhurst Orzhova
Race: Hume
Gender: Male
Birthday: (Um, mine would be July 28th.)
Age: 15
Main Job: Black Mage. Sub job: White Mage.
Future Job: Summoner
Nation: Bastok
Residence: Slums or Mine District of Bastok.
Physical description: Falhurst barely pushes past five feet in height and borders on being sickly thin. Despite his obvious frailness, he attempts and struggles to appear otherwise. His skin is hardly what one would consider to be healthy; being pallid and nearing ashen. Pale gray eyes fit the rest of him, as does his hair, generally unkempt and left to it's own devices. The common attire seen on the boy is nothing more than ragged apprentice robes of some bastokan magi school, though it bares no symbol of pride.

Regardless of his rather pathetic appearances, the boy manages to stay cheerful, though in a strange or eerie fashion. Others would simply call him complacent, or afflicted with bizarre melancholy. These things were all the more noticeable with his near constant company of his brother, who was almost his complete opposite.

As any could guess, the boy Falhurst came from an family not worth notice. His father being nothing more than dutiful to keep his family fed; working in the deepest and darkest mines of Bastok. It was common, even in this age to see the tragedy coming. The chamber Marcus Orzhova dug into that day collapsed with little warning, ending the man's life in but a moment.

Falhurst wasn't even old enough to remember his father, but in later years he could see the pain it left in his mother's eyes. Teysa Orzhova, mother of two barely lived after that. A ghost of herself. The older brother, Matheus was just as his father was however, determined and faithful to his family. From then on, he took care of his family and nothing deterred him. He scrounged for any job he could find and managed to keep his brother and mother fed. This went on for a great many years until the now young man drew the attention of the militia. They saw promise in him and his unwavering loyalty.

After that Falhurst saw very little of his brother. Though money was sent and life returned to something more acceptable, their mother continued to withdraw and it hurt the boy more than anyone would know. When Teysa ceased speaking at all, Falhurst began speaking for the both of them... Eventually he began speaking to people who were never there. Though these "friends" were fleeting, one of them apparently was a frequent visitor. This one the boy called Tai'crent. During one of Matheus' leaves, Falhurst told him of his new friends. The older brother was happy that Falhurst wasn't sinking into that same place there mother was. Yet he could not have known the ones Falhurst spoke of weren't real.

Several years past and tragedy befell the family again. No one but the boy Falhurst knows what exactly transpired that day, but what his brother discovered made him question the time he had spent away.

Their home, in the outskirts of the valleys surrounding Bastok, was a blackened husk, smoldering near to it's foundation. At it's ruined edges Falhurst was found weeping, confessing his apparent crime. "I burned mother..." was all he would say for days. Indeed, Teysa Orzhova's body was found among the ruinous lumber and stone, as were a pair of Quadav; their armor and weapons seared and warped into their shells and bones.

Matheus brought the boy to bastok then, as there was nowhere else for him. Later, when he could gather the courage ask what happened, Falhurst offered a simple and disturbing answer. "The turtle-men came, they wanted to hurt us... Tai'crent taught me how to burn them... b-but mother was there and I-I couldn't stop it..." It left Matheus with only more questions, but he didn't have the heart to ask more.

Soon after, the elder brother attempted and succeeded in having the "gifted" Falhurst introduced into a small (and inexpensive) mage academy. His stay was short, and the excuses of why were many. This left Matheus with few options. Though his superiors understood, they were saddened to have him leave. The brothers now make their way as simple mercenaries, with little ties to anyone.
