Ok, so in recent years I know the Mongols overtook the 81 as the top club in Southern California, but with the recent major federal crackdown on the Mongols have the Hells been able to regain lost ground?

Also what is the relationship between the Hells Angels and La eMe? Has eMe ever tried to tax them like they did the Mongols, or was that just because they had so many Latino gang members as "part time Mongols?"

Hope some of the knowledgeable posters here can help me out, thanks!

I know that the Mongols MC has a lot of chapters in the greater Los Angeles area. And this is one area where the hells angels have never been able to gain a foothold. For if a hells angels chapter set's up shop in a city or state they have to dominate the area.
Where as LA has a lot of latino street gangs so the Mongols just recruit from them.
