Tree branch bandit hunted IN QLD
Police are hunting for a man who tried to rob the Matilda Service Station in Caloundra with a tree branch.
The man, described as in his late teens or early 20s and blonde, entered the petrol station just before 2am with a tree branch and demanded money.
The attendant refused and fought back with a baseball bat from behind the counter.
The would be robber fled empty handed.
Police are investigating.

Some years ago a guy walked into a bank wanting to rob it. He said to the teller "I've got Aids, give me the money". The teller realised he was unarmed and said to a work colleague "this guy has Aids" and they both started laughing at him. He left without the money
