I saw Tron: Legacy twice, I really like the movie. The whole "IMAX 3D" thing was a disappointment, though, so I didn't go back to that the second time.

Fan-freaking-tastic movie.
It's one of those movies that is exactly what you think it is, especially with Seth Rogan and the Shaun of the Dead/Hot Fuzz main actors, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, in it.
At most you'll go five minutes without laughing, the rest you'll be at least chuckling if not down right cracking up.
The humor is a mix of crazy randomness, some stuff appropriate for stoner films, but mostly it is full of pure geekiness with lots of sci-fi references.

It's good, it'll make you laugh, enjoy it.

Sucker Punch. Still a bit angry about it. It was just so boring it pissed me off.

Really enjoyed it, minus the annoying abruptness of the ending.

Thor

It was enjoyable. Better then most superhero movies, but not the best. Had some good laughs with it and was quite pretty at times.

This just makes me wish for the Avengers to come out. Joss Whedon, do us geeks proud!

X-Men: First Class. Loved it. I went to the midnight premiere, and I might be seeing it again tomorrow morning.

In other news, I'm super excited for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and Super 8.

Dragon Tattoo is becoming a movie? I have the book loaded into my iPod.

Anyways, last movie I saw: The Devil Wears Prada. It was ok but not really that good. Felt like it was dragging along.

Before that it was Julie & Julia. Meryl Streep in this one which I loved! So far the only movie I've seen with her that I wasn't 100% into was the Prada one. Julie & Julia after watching New Moon and another movie I can't remember made me love movies again.

All three books in that series have been adapted into films in Sweden already, but yeah, a Hollywood version is coming out this December. It's made by the guy who directed Fight Club, Se7en, and The Social Network, among other films.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Easily the best of the trilogy but it's still so frustrating!

Captain America

Saw it on opening day, forgot to post here as I normally do.

I had thought of a good review of the movie on that day, but now I can't remember it. All I can remember now of it is that it's one of the best Marvel movies out there. Can't wait for The Avengers to come out.

Cabin in the Woods.

This is a fantastic movie, you should see it. However, this is one of those movies that is impossible to describe without taking forever, reveal too much in the process, and not do it justice. So I'm not even going to try. It's great, I swear.

I have to wait until it's on DVD to see it. ]: I want to though.

Phineas and Ferb: Across The 2nd Dimension.

Freakin' loved it! I love P&F and the creators, and this made me love both the show, and the creators more.

The Avengers!

Is now my favorite superhero film of all time. Another film everyone should see. Also, stay through the credits. Like all of the recent Marvel films, make sure you stay to the end of the credits.

Also, this movie was my first Imax and 3D film I've seen... Not impressed with the whole 3D craze at all.

Just say The Avengers last night. It gets my stamp of approval, and that's hard to get. In fact, I like it so much that I wouldn't mind seeing it again! You guys did stay through ALL the credits, right?

The Dark Knight Rises

Watched the midnight showing of it when it opened. Had crappy seats, but the movie was pretty great. Had a couple small gripes about the film, but in the end the movie was solid and enjoyable. Good ending for the trilogy.

I feel very worried for the next person who will try to make a new Batman film.

Pacific Rim

I left the theater giddy. Yes, giddy. Fantastic action with several "f' yeah" moments, amazing soundtrack, good characters, and some hilarious minor characters all wrapped up in a bundle of monster and robot kick ass. Plus, the voice actress who plays GLADOS voices the main giant robot's computer in a GLADOS lite sort of way.
