Seriously though, with more head shots and shotgun carnage then "Heat" and "Collateral" combined, yet with as much character development as "Heat", this has to be the best summer film to come out. (From what I heard)

As many previews of the movie as I've seen, it just doesn't look like Miami Vice to me.

...um..that's kind of the point actually...more of what Miami Vice should of been if ever released in film............well that what Mann said himself I think...or what the narrator said... Seriously, just because it's based off from a TV show doesn't mean it's going to be another summer flick...I mean, just from reading info on it AND the fact is it's a Mann film. It also opens tommorow so atleast tell others about it atleast and serioulsy, stop treating or expecting it to be a "summer film". -------------------- |

 Because this was the 1st day I was driving all my friends to the movies (Just got my license) we were going to watch Pirates 2 but my friend has the bootleg so we said, might as well watch Miami Vice........... ONE OF THE WORST MOVIES ever. What a piece of Sh!t. Amazingly bad. This is the 1st Time I have been in a JA theater and you hear ppl groaning and laughing at how bad it is. Jamie Foxx's acting was horrible. And let me not talk about some of the worst directing and progression shots ever. In all honesty my friend said it was a porno. Bad acting. People rambling about some ish you don't care about and they bang every couple mins. After awhile though it saved itself from humiliation where in the end we got the 1st gun fight of the whole movie that was entertaining as hell. Everyone cheared and said finally. Only 2 scenes of the whole movie are worth watching. It was terrible, save your money and don't watch it. 1st movie I can say I wasted money on going to. --------------------  |
