Those are pretty good. I'd add a border to them though. I'd also Work on your text and renders.
pyrofreak657 - June 3, 2006 08:23 PM (GMT)
Those are good.
I suggest a border as well. Prefferably 1pix. I think those look the best.
What program are you using?

evilnick06 - June 3, 2006 10:27 PM (GMT)
ya I use to add a border but I haven't latly and I am using photoshop. ya I am still working with the text and renders still need some more work with. But I know I can make a kick ass bg pretty much

WHOA! Those sigs are terrific!! I am not too fond of the darker colors but you seem to make it work pretty well! Well done, keep up the good work :D
Ascendancy - August 11, 2006 01:38 AM (GMT)
Not too bad, they all just seem a little repetative.

it must be the how all the renders blend with the background colors. and the last few have the same background, so he must have been brainstorming.
The Bozzy - August 11, 2006 08:52 AM (GMT)
They look great exept those had edges  If you're using Photoshop, Take out your eraser tool and erase with an 100px soft brush. B)
evilnick06 - August 11, 2006 10:39 AM (GMT)
alright i will try that so you mean try something like the one in your sig above prince of persia
CrimsonSkull - August 24, 2006 04:20 AM (GMT)
Pretty cool stuff. I like a lot of the backgrounds. A few suggestions.
You do have some rough edges, I wouldn't recommend the eraser tool simply because it erases. When you're down to fine tuning the edges using the eraser is often trading rouch edges for bumby ones. Set the blur tool to around 60% in normal mode and use around 5 or so brush size and carefully trim a long the edges. This will blend the pixels in an anit aliasing style instead of removing any pixels. You just ahev to be careful that the brush isn't too big and that you go along the very edge, drifting outside to far will smear the background and going to far inside the stock will ofcourse blur it. Also try to move quickly you can touch up later but if you stay in one spot too long it can blur too muc, which is why you want to set it to around 60% instead of 100%. Just pratice with it and it will get easier to use and works really well.
Only other thing is try not to use stocks that cut off like the one with the wings, the wings just sqaure off where the original image ended. I would suggest completely cutting them out. Or another method is to the edges of them out and then past them as a new layer and blend them so they just disapear into the background. Creates a cool effect but depends on the image really so not always a good way to go.
Hope thats some usefull info. Only a few minor things so good work.

I am not sure that I like this one or not I was trying something new, the bg looks plain but actually it was a pain to do with just one brush and some filters and a render, I have antoher one that is better if I remember right but i was working at it at school and i havne't got a chance to work on it since a week to two. so tell me what you guys think.
this link right here is for a battle that i decided to do at crimson website i sent all the members pms but it would of been better for email but i can't do that right now. so if you are a memeber or want to do it then just join the website. All the details for the battle are there.http://crimsonfx.proboards104.com/index.cg...read=1159740130
CrimsonSkull - October 2, 2006 03:07 AM (GMT)
Darken the BG some so the render doesn't stand out too much, also might make it look a little less plain. And raise the text up a little looks like it getting cut off at the very bottom.
evilnick06 - October 2, 2006 10:20 AM (GMT)
alright i have the other i said and I think its better but its at school
evilnick06 - October 5, 2006 08:11 PM (GMT)
here is version 2 of it I did change the bg but ti still look plain so I took this glass brush I have and used it and then made copy of the bg and flip it around couple of times. Tell me what you think.

evilnick06 - October 6, 2006 01:24 AM (GMT)
ya i know the only way to fix that is start from scratch on the render
Twilightlord - October 10, 2006 01:19 AM (GMT)
on the front left side of her hair it looks like an error was made, on the top right it looks like another error was made on the hair, and the feathered edges on the right it looks like the eraser tool should be used. it is blended very well, and to be honest, i only see a few errors with the hair, but as for the feathers i can't directly say if that was a mistake, because i know how some bg's make the renders look funny. all in all, i think it's a very well blended sig and i like the way it looks. just fix the hair on version 2 (mainly on the top right), i would suggest using the smudge tool.
evilnick06 - October 10, 2006 02:24 AM (GMT)
ok or I just move her up some, thanks man
evilnick06 - October 17, 2006 01:19 AM (GMT)
ok I tried some new stuff with this few
I tried to fix the render zero tell me what you think
I made this sig before but it had the white with it for some reason I fix that so now its really a pop out
the only difference is one is with interlace and one isn't
CardShark - October 17, 2006 01:33 AM (GMT)
evilnick06 - October 17, 2006 01:53 AM (GMT)
ya I didn't fill like messing with the text that much this time I wanted to try new stuff with the renders more, but i can fix the text quicky if i get around to it
Twilightlord - October 22, 2006 07:57 PM (GMT)
i agree, but nice blending by the way. the effects are nice on the renders as they blend with the bg.
