Here is a list of updates I have made to the forums. If you disagree with these updates, please let me know and I'll listen to all sides.

-Sig size changed from 64x64 to 150x150

Right now, the Banner is not working. That is okay though since it's only a temporary thing anyway. I'm still waiting on the real banner so it might not work for a couple days.

Depending on how certain events play out, I may disclose information about how I was demodded and subsequently created this forum. People who would like to know what happened (ALL of the details) will want to stick around and see exactly what happened because it may change your feelings towards some people.

Preliminary Banner is working now. I dunno what happened but it's fine now.

Colors have been changed to reflect a much more tranquil place. I'm still fixing a couple of the darker colors but this looks good.

Banner with the new name of the forums is up and the darker colors have been removed. This is a nice color for a forum that will include the name "Nirvana." In case people don't know, Nirvana is the land of enlightenment in Buddhism where the Boddhisattvas reside.

New Update (10/19):

We have decided that instead of a whole mess of moderators running around, that some people will be chosen to be "committee members." These members will have access to the Mod forum and are ESSENTIAL TO THIS FORUM. They will have voting rights on issues discussed in the mod forum (and their input is crucial), however, they will wield no banning powers/thread locking powers. However, I will allow them to have post editing ability so that inflamatory comments can be removed.

Number of threads per page (in each forum) upped to 25
Number of Posts per page inside the thread upped to 25

Here are some changes that have been made:

IamMrDonut has been promoted to committee member.

The mods and I discussed possibilities and everyone agreed that IamMrDonut was a good choice. I personally felt that since I don't know Donut that well and to prevent people from declaring shananigans on me for being biased in some way, he deserves a chance. Keep in mind, Committee people are basically junior mods: They really have no power except to edit other people's posts to edit out crap. The mods and myself still ahve the ultimate powers to do the real dirty work.

Hombre is a new mod.

I'm sure most everyone knows how good a job Hombre has done as mod at IG4 and his dedication to keeping forums clean and happy. Having his help is key to the monitoring of the forums.

EDIT:

Due to some issues with the Committee user group, the mods have voted 3-0 (I do not vote on such matters unless for purposes of a tie break) to allow Donut to be a mod.

As requested, a tech forum has been added.

Newest Update:

I have added a drop-down menu for 2 sites that we are now Affiliated with. JLEJ's The Escape and bharlan2002's The Nation of Webb.

I have just added lightbulbs to show online/offline users. This was something that was requested by someone in the suggestions thread and I could finally get the code thanks to z-mighty.

Temporarily, I have new icons for the forums. I will be searching around for better ones, but for now, these will take away some of the old default looking buttons.

Okay as everyone sees, I have brought in new buttons. These really fit the forum much nicer than the default and the temp ones I had up before.

Sig limits increased from 200 characters to 500.

Due to the disappearance of Hombre, he has been sent down to Committee member status.

Unofficial G4 Forum has been destroyed. 2 threads "Who are you on G4?" and "I want to xplay forums and..." are now in Off topic, and "Cinematech" has been moved to Music, TV, Movies. "G4 has the best programming..." Has been moved to trash talk/debate.

At his own request, GovernmentUser is now demodded. He chose to resign from his post on MSN.

I changed the name of Technology to Technology/Tech Help. I hope this will make things a little clearer.

Added Forum "Online gaming"

Forum skin has been changed to Blue Ascension as per the voting in Art Forum.

I will be changing the buttons tongiht as well.

Due to the spam raid today and the lack of mods on at the time, TerminalFreeze has been added as mod. I discussed this with Donut (he was the only other mod I could talk to today) and he agreed that Terminal would be fine for the job. We discussed other people as well, so don't think we just said "okay TF is it and that's final." TF is on a lot so it was best that we had someone on at all times.

There is a little warn thing next to your name. This is so you know if you have been warned by a moderator and why you were warned. We want you all to see why you were warned.

If you don't have any warnings, that's VERY good. Don't let yourself be warned because that will tell us and everyone else that you are a troublemaker and possibly suspension/ban worthy (don't worry, we don't ban after 1 warning.)

Loading does take a few seconds, so PLEASE be patient. Once it's loaded, there are 10 pages worth of games to play.

DragonDarkness has been given temporary mod status to watch over the place until I have settled over in Japan.

Writing/Fanfic is now a subforum in art.

I am quite happy with that. And look forward to moderating with Hombresabio for this time.
