I figure since she is a character here, that I'd post a doll of her. This a remake of the very first doll that I ever made. I'm so proud of the remake of her. I love her outfit as well, and all the black. I love shading black for some reason. *shrugs*

She's lovely and I adore the style of her dress. The shiny buckle is very pretty and really adds something to make her more interesting and it's great that it matches her boot buckle. Well done for the face edit and the shading underneath! I would just soften the edges of her lips a little bit with the smudge but other than that you've got the face perfect. I love the fall of her hair.

A little bit of semi CC - It's probably my bad resolution, but it's really hard to tell the shading on her dress so I might suggest using higher contast when you shade dark colours.

Thanks, Lizzie. *tackles* It's a little hard to tell sometimes if I shade darker color bright enough sometimes, I have a laptop and if I have the screen at a certian angle it looks right. XD I should work on that a little bit more. Thank you for the lovely comments.

I was about to reply to this on Ft, then saw you had posted here as well. XD I did notice you poked me though, hey! *sticks out tongue*

She is beautiful Keke! I can't believe how good you are getting at hair, I have always loved your method of doing it, and you are getting so good at it. I really like how you shaded her skirt folds as well, so pretty. You have very much improved from your first doll. It has been two years now, right?

Oh and um . . . *hides* Not to nitpick, but you didn't change her eyebrows. Just thought I might mention it. It isn't very noticeable, but that is the thing that has always caught my attention on dolls. *hides again* She is beautiful!

I know what you mean about the screen too, it is so hard to doll on a laptop. I have noticed colors on my laptop show up different than on other monitors too, which makes me nervous. I think it is just the nature of the screen.

*tackles* Dang it you caught me, I knew there was something that I missed with her. I just couldn't figure it out, yes I forgot the change her eyebrows. I noticed that shortly after I posted her. lol *shrugs* Not much I can do now.

Thank you for the lovely comments, Laura. Yep, two years, the first doll was created on July 25th, 2006 (I just looked it up lol). So I'm super proud of what I have accomplished in the last two years.

The computer screen thing bugs me sometimes, I wonder if I'm highlighting something too much or not enough. The colors are the same from me just the brightness is what gets me. She looks just fine to me with my laptop but when I look on other computers she looks all dark and everything. *shrugs* Oh well.

I have found that if you have your screen titled at a normal angle, just slightly back, and then sit back in your chair and look at about a third of the way up the screen, the color depth is true to what it would be on a normal monitor. It gives you a lovely crick in your neck, but it works. =P

Well my computer just has a really rubbish resolution. Congrats on 2 and a half years! (I'm coming up to 3 in February.)

I hadn't noticed the eyebrows at all and I did study her before commenting.

Thanks for the tip, Laura. I'll keep that in mind when I doll next. Which should be very soon since my muse is kicking me to doll right now and of course, her brother is kicking me to write. *shakes head* I feel flattered that they're fighting over me but come on people. lol laugh.gif
