Oh, that sucks. But I'm sure they'll come again... I've not yet had the chance to see them because they haven't come close enough to me to be a reasonable trip sad.gif (I'm from Minnesota).

MGMT? I didn't know who they were until I saw them open for of Montreal last October.. I think they're pretty good though. Here is a song of theirs:

Although I wasn't at this show, this is them at the same venue.

P.S. There is a good chance I'm going to see Bill Cosby next year as well! laugh.gif charmandericon.gif tongue.gif

I saw the Pillows at Tokyo Zepp this weekend. I have to admit I'm not such a huge fan of anything since My Foot, but they still do a good live show. Also, the crowd response out here is kind of nuts. Enthusiastic clapping for all statements made on the mike, large and small.

Sorry for the double posting but it's not like anyone is around here to care anyway sad.gif . I just thought I'd mention that I'm going to see the Music Tapes on the 24th and then Andrew Bird in April. I'm pretty excited.

Hey I still check here now and again.

My big upcoming show is MONO in NYC in May playing with a small orchestra. It's going to be quite the event I think.

It would be nice to see Noodles again, that's why I keep coming here, when they tour America again I am sure will find out about it from here.

Mono sounds like they'd be great live! Their stuff on cd is wonderful, so I'm guessing it'll be even more amazing in real life. Do tell us how it was once you go.

Also, the Music Tapes show was great. If you've not heard of them, they're part of the whole Elephant 6 thing, and I guess you sort of need an open ear on first listen, but Julian (the man behind the band) is really an amazing fellow and an absolute sweetheart. I recommend checking him out!

p.s. I like your avatar. Is that an autograph I see?

anyway; last show i went to, about 2 weeks ago, was sunn o))). i've seen a lot of bands but i've never experienced LOUD like that before. the first part was just drone that was so loud and intense i actually wasn't sure i was going to be able to stay through the whole thing, lol.

I ended up going with my father to a Tom Rush show last night. Not knowing what to expect, I'd say it was pretty smooth.
