Not sure if I should be worried or not, but my 6-7" Dempsey caught a baby Convict yesterday, probably only 3/8 - 1/2". I discovered it while doing a water change. I can see the tail inside his mouth and it's been like that for nearly 2 days now. Should I be worried about the Dempsey's health? If so, what can I do about it.

Sorry if this is a stupid question/scenario, but I've never came across this in all my years of keeping fish!

How is the dempsey looking? If all is ok there then everything should be ok. If the Dempsy is having trouble breating , swimmint etc it may be time to remove the convict. Hopefully everything is ok and it fixes naturally smile.gif
