Not sure if I should be worried or not, but my 6-7" Dempsey caught a baby Convict yesterday, probably only 3/8 - 1/2". I discovered it while doing a water change. I can see the tail inside his mouth and it's been like that for nearly 2 days now. Should I be worried about the Dempsey's health? If so, what can I do about it.
Sorry if this is a stupid question/scenario, but I've never came across this in all my years of keeping fish! |

How is the dempsey looking? If all is ok there then everything should be ok. If the Dempsy is having trouble breating , swimmint etc it may be time to remove the convict. Hopefully everything is ok and it fixes naturally
