just let them choose if they want to breed. as outcast said they may be too old or they just want a break for a while. do you keep them specifically to breed? I would just let them decide themselves.

yah, you cant make a fish breed, you can make proper conditions for them to breed. the babies could also have gotten eaten or something?

What on earth are kribs? The only thing I know how to breed are anabantoids. Paradsie fish & bettas. It's fun & easy.

Do you have a pic of your kribs? I'm intrigued huh.gif

Kribs are a cichlid from africa, it can go in a community tank unlike most african cichlids, heres a link to liveaquaria.

Very intersting. Now I know more than I did yesterday. I like learning new things about new fish. I don't venture outside of my basics so any info I get is good.

These are kribs......

Mine spawned like BUNNIES! Dang things kept eating their fry at freeswimming though. I gave them to a friend that is breeding the male with a different female with great success. The female is a fry eater and now lives w/o a male in a community tank she has.

I was wondering the same thing. What happened to the fry from before??? These fish raise their fry.
