It was not long before the dark had reached her quarters, glad to have him remove his hand from her shoulder. She pondered quickly, different questions and wonders she had about this man. Her black eyebrows frowner, and she turned around, letting her voice come out flat, speaking her mind. "Why did you help me??"

It was rare one did, and almost abnormal for someone to assist the green in anything. No one to teach her magic, to help her find her way...... Yasmin's boots rubbed together, making a quiet noise, something between a squeak and when two pieces of cloth rub against each other. Despite their shine, the boots were not leather as it was difficult to five finger discount from expensive shops.

And with that, Yasmin wondered, where was she really, all her life?? Somewhere in the shadows of an alley, cleaning her gun, or in an appealing shop, tensing her muscles and getting ready to run. But the girl was quite weak, at least, in this current state. She relaxed her eyebrows, letting them levitate somewhere else on her pale forhead. She pushed by some dark hair with black tipped fingers. It was probably the first real time she had spoken to him.

Zaunithe stopped as the green turned to faced him, a question coming out of her mouth. It was the first time he had heard the girl speak. She seemed almost reluctant to talk to him, as though she didn't want to reveal any secrets or scratch any sensitive mental wounds. Ah... so she finally finds her tongue. Although her inquiry sounded more like a demand as opposed to a question, Zaunithe didn't mind and kept his calm attitude.

"Why did I help you?" he repeated, his azure eyes seeming to respond to the query as well. "Simply because you needed assistance. Why else would I come to your aid?" Zaunithe paused for a moment, but continued without giving the green a chance to speak. "I do realize that you've come to Fell, possibly bearing great burdens or sufferings, more or less. I, too, have experienced pain... The world is a cruel place. But enough of this talk."

Zaunithe tilted his head to the side slightly, as he raised his hand, magically opening the door to Yasmin's dwelling. "Go ahead." He took a step back, waiting for her to enter. "Quickly now, before that head of yours gets worse."

Yasmin shrugged, opening the door and entering the gray darkness of her abode. The window curtains were drawn, casting shadows upon her desk. She slumped down on her bed, quickly unraveling the laces of her boots. She looked up at the white mage, deciding it would be rude not to allow him in.
"You can come in if you want." The dark was still bent over, but she tilted her head at the desk chair infront of the window.

A squeal sounded under her bed, and after the last boot was thrown off, Yasmin kneeled down with a frown, searching under her bed. A small dusty gray mouse was scratching its way along the hardware floor, and the green reached out, extending her arm under the matress to retreive the rodent. It crawled onto her hand, and her red eyes had a gleam of hatred in them.

Getting up, she stepped out into the hall for a moment, squatting in front of a random door and opening it a crack to slip the mouse in. She watched it go, squeaking madly as it paraded curiously under yet another bed. Yasmin wiped her hands on her jeans un-neededly, closing the door and padding back into her room with barefeet. She felt relaxed at the moment, dragging herself onto the bed and positioning herself, then stared at the thin curtains with her black nails clicking on the head board.

Her mouth felt dry, and her tongue swollen. Yasmin's throat was raspy and she let out a cough, and an unhealthy one at that. She resisted the temptation to leave the safety of her room, but her eyes became a bit shiney from the pain. The dark's mind was still a little off, and she felt almost dizzy, though luckily the white mage helped kill the pain a little.

Zaunithe didn't feel like playing the role of doctor. Sure, he wanted to change for the better, but he still wasn't quite socially adept. Oh well. It would seem rather careless to leave Yasmin. The liquor appeared to have taken a toll on the dark mage and she didn't look very healthy. Zaunithe couldn't just leave her in this condition. Afterall, who knows what would happen in the depths of Fell?

He stepped into the room, watching the green nearly cough up a furball. She would probably need a bit more medical attention. Either that, or something plain and simple, like a day's rest. Well, that is certainly not a sign of good health. With a flick of motion from his hand, a glass of water appeared. "Drink this. It will help your cough and soothe your stomach," he said, handing it to Yasmin.

Meanwhile, Zaunithe took a quick peek around the apartment, taking note of the utter darkness enveloping the room. Quite a cheerful place... he thought sardonically, his clear blue eyes brooding in thought. The white mage would have the leave soon. He had places to be and little time. But he would stay-- at least until Zaunithe was sure the girl could manage.

Yasmin raised a suspicious eyebrow. She shrugged, half-frustrated about her uptight-ness. Either way, she couldn't die. Or so she thought. Grabbing the glass, she slowly swallowed the healthy substance and felt less wonky. Lips parting, the former wanderer let out a loud belch and clamped her jaws together embarassedly.

Again, the dark wondered how she became this way. But at the same time, she wasn't going to let herself let her guard down and become some pinheaded "Social Butterfly." The green change her position, reclining on her rather small bed. But it didn't seem that way to her, as long as it was a bed, and a clean one at that. Yasmin seemed restless and fizzy, again fidgeting.

It was akward to be so forward with someone, even if it didn't seem that way to them. The second level jewel began to wonder about this mage. So far, she hadn't met any darks, actually, the only real person she had met in the abyss so far was Roma, yet another white. Could it be that maybe this hell-like place wasn't punishment after all?? No Satan's den, perhaps an angel haven. The girl was almost thinking to deep about this. But her judgement was changing about the dark paradise she currently resided in.

Glad that the girl was finally feeling a bit better, Zaunithe decided that he had overstayed his welcome. She was growing restless in thought-- he could tell by her silence and that brooding look in her eyes. The loner took one last look around the dorm, wondering how many people's rooms were as gloomy as Yasmin's was. Although his was no rainbow island either. It was quite bland, as a matter of fact. Zaunithe had no idea how or what to decorate it with. Nothing seemed to appease the yellow.

He took a few steps towards the door, turning to face the green once again. "I am afraid, I must take my leave," he said, his icy blue eyes blinking. "I have some business to attend to." Zaunithe bowed slightly, showing respect as was common in martial arts. "Shall you need help, remember that my name is Zaunithe." Opening the door, he peered back on last time to see if Yasmin would respond. If not, he would simply leave.

She sat up, nodding. "Oh- all right." Yasmin sighed and noticed that Zaunithe's jewel had changed. The dark decided it would be best to tell him her name. "And I'm, Yasmin." The name echoed in her mind, and she shook her head with a little groan. Her mind was fizzy, and her stomach growled fiercly.

Without noticing, she was slowly slipping down the bed. The magical healing that the mage had performed was beginning to wear off, causing the green's head to spin faster. She tried to steady her view by waiting for the door to fall in place, but with a small thud she fell on the hard-ware floor. Grabbing onto the edge of her dusky gray bed, she hoisted herself back up.

With a hand on her forhead, she nodded grimly, not wanting to slow the man down, he seemed like he was late for something. Worrying he did not get the message, Yasmin looked up and spoke. "Go if you want, I can't die anyways." Her words were cold and icy coming from her warm lips. When she payed more attention to the hand on her forhead, she realized it was hot. With a groan she screwed up her eyes and held her stomach, bending forward and hoping to shatter the cramps within.

Zaunithe turned back to look at Yasmin again. She appeared to be getting worse-- as if his magic was fading somehow... Even if he had important matters to attend to, he couldn't leave her like this. Not in her current condition. Not only was the alcohol taking affect, but it seemed that she was getting a fever as well. The Loner, although on the anti-social side couldn't find it in himself to simply let her suffer like this.

He took a few stray steps back into the room. "It can wait." The words were firm and his tone strict. "You need more medical attention." He paused for a while, rethinking the queries in his head. "Exactly how much liquor did you consume?" By the look of the dark mage, it looked like a whole lot.

The yellow also wondered what the girl was doing, but decided against asking her, afraid that he would either embarass or anger her. While waiting for an answer from Yasmin, Zaunithe recited spells in his mind, seeing if he could regurgitate any previous information he had heard or researched that could help the intoxicated and sickly girl. There has to be a cure...

"I-" She paused, trying to think but her head was spinning too quickly and she couldn't remember much. "I don't remember....." Out of her mouth poured more vile, and she felt dehydrated and foggy. She coughed through the substance caught in her hot throat and her eyes were no longer shut, but the lids weakly drooped. Her tongue was swollen and her mouth would be dry if it wasn't for the upchuck that had remained in her mouth.

Gurgling, she tried to swallow with her tight and sore throat but only managed to make a hacking noise. Her stomach was now seized by the pain her cramps brought. Small hot tears streamed down her face from the lack of comfort and she looked at the ground. She tried to picture a glass of water, but it made her feel worse. She moved her swollen lips slightly, praying the mage would understand. Slowly, they formed the word "Water" in silence.

Her bare feet hit something hot and gooey, and after a minute or two Yasmin realized that her feet were dipped in the puddle of muck. In disgust she half-closed her eyes and small dribblets of throw up had emerged from their hollow, though thankfully it wasn't much. With a croak, she left her mouth hanging open and tried to swallow frm time to time. Again, she mouthed "Water" and slowly attpempted to turn her aching head at him. "Water" was silently moving on her lips, and she coughed a bit.

What is this? Zaunithe asked himself. It seems that her immune system highly dislikes the fluid intake. It shouldn't be too hard to cure though... He looked at the dark mage, understanding that she needed to rehydrate herself. Although Zaunithe realized that her stomach probably couldn't hold it down, she needed the water to soothe her throat. Besides, water is a naturally healthy substance. She might as well try.

He muttered a few words, another glass filled with clear liquid appearing in his hand. The loner made his way to Yasmin, handing her the glass. "Drink it slowly; you won't upset your stomach so much." Zaunithe then focused his attention at the muck on the floor. With a quick wave of his hand, the mess dissolved into the carpet, leaving the ground as clean as it was before.

But... she was still in pain. True, Zaunithe had healed cuts and gashes before. However, he had never even attempted curing an internal sickness or illness such as this one. He could always give it a shot though. The white mage's thoughts raced, thinking of any prior knowledge or even a spell he had come across, which could help Yasmin.

Yasmin greatfully took the glass and slightly nodded before drainging the glass. Her breath was heavy and she swiped her sleeve across her burning mouth. She stared at the single window and was glad the curtains were drawn, she would not want someone seeing her being weak enough to need help.

Her neck ached and she looked down to see small, dark wet splotches on her black sweater. Tid bits of smell emitted from them and drifted to her nose, souring the air she inhaled. Now paying attention to her surroundings, she realized she could feel the dampness seeping in and wanted tomake a fast change. She extended her arms out behind her on the bed and stuck out her chest, making her shoulder blades scrape against each other as her back made a loud crack.

The dark slowly slid of the bed and delicately balanced herself on the bare pads of her sticky feet, leading herself dizzily to the closet across the shadowy room. The wooden door creaked open as she eased her arms inside, sifting through the clothes untl she found fresh pairs of jeans, a large indigo T-Shirt, and a fitting, light gray sweater. Pulling them out, she realized she would have to change in various places and turned around to face the mage. "You'll want to turn around." She commanded, holding her clothing to her chest.

Zaunithe nodded, although adding, "I believe I should be leaving..." He backed up towards the door, magically turning the knob with a quick wave of his hand. "Farewell, Yasmin. Take care of yourself." The mage thought that the girl should be fine. She was functioning normally and wouldn't need anything more than a bit of rest and perhaps some peace and quiet.

He slid out into the dorm hall, leaving the dark in her apartment to change, a soft "click" coming from the shutting door. "And now to the library..." Zaunithe mused to himself, almost silently as he made his way towards the castle.

((Bah. Ignore this crappy post. To infinity and... the library!))

Yasmin nodded silently, and quickly changed, then went over to sit on her bed. She was restless and picked out a book from her shelf, beginning to read as the sky darkened outside her drawn curtains......

((Chau!! Braindead for now!!))
