Roma stayed silent and processed what she was hearing both verbally and mentally. Their thoughts and words were expected, she knew them both enough to realize how they would act, what they would do next. It was a sort of game she played with herself as they babbled on about things that only made half sense to her. "Froggy was a bad boy and he hippity hopped into the jug and never came out. Will little miss bat like to rescue him?" She batted her eyelashes in an equally annoying but fake sugary way. "Or would wittle batty like to hold her forked wittle tongue and shut the fuck up?" The white rolled her brown eyes and leaned back into her chair, using her jewel to put up a mask of glamour around her. With eyes now mustard yellow, and hair black as night she glanced over at Zaunithe and smirked. "I don't have a home dear Zenith-san, but Earth would be my first choice of a place to visit. Yet of course... If not earth I could always get there from a less limiting plane of magic, and take whoever with me."
At Yasmin's other rudely asked question she shrugged. "We met in the courtyard where Yaz got a 'lil pissed like he always does. But you don't know him do you, which is a surprise especially since the bastard will sneak around and mess with your mind at any random time. In simple words, he's the head dark jewel who runs around like a stuck up snob doing whatever the hey he wants. Not like I don't do that either..." 'Periya may not be lucky Zaunithe, but she can stumble upon anything she likes. She stumbled upon my journal holding all of my secrets, and she stumbled upon poor little Emilie Matthews at the beach. I think she can find anything with her eyes closed without any effort what-so-ever.'

She fingered her straw thoughtfully, unaware of what the white had just said to her. "Why would one be so desperate as to return to earth?? Besides, it's nice here." Yasmin grinned as she toyed with the colors and shape of the glass, making the cup's hues a deep blue and curving the shape gracefully, the handle curving inward from the left with its base spread for more balance. This, she had learned from the first few pages of the book she had picked up and being a green jewel, was able to manage only the simplest of magics.
The dark decided to have a little fun and got up for a moment to retrieve the book from its hiding place. Then she returned to the other jewels' group and flipped through the pages of the third chapter, researching more about illusions, her red eyes gliding along as she processed all this through her mind. Yasmin had a little trouble at first when she tried practicing what she had just learned on the glass, the rim sprouting surreal cat ears rather than a mini umbrella.
She cursed and then wittily made it seem as though Roma's potion was on fire. The orange flair stretched up to reach the white's hair, slowly enclosing the black hair in optical flames. The little culprit did not even bother to act out, she only watched and enjoyed the picture of someone in trouble, though she had forgotten that the disguised jewel was of a higher level and actually a lot more intelligent than herself.

((This is all I can do. 'Cuz my brain isn't working. ._. ))
"Depends if you would enjoy a cave over a nice little house over looking the ocean. You apparently like dark little caves with mucked up clouds, talking beasts with sharp tongues, or better yet, forest fires started by pyromaniacs." She waved her hand and the illusion of dancing flames broke into pieces. Yellow-green potion water stopped glowing from the light’s warmth, and her black locks were as full as they had always been. "Yasmin, before you start making illusions, I suggest you practice on those who are of lower skill, or maybe a poor little cockroach perhaps?" Roma tapped her fingers on the table and summoned up a quill and a bottle of black India ink. She opened up the cap, dipping the pen into the black tarry substance and then scratched down a few words on Periya's parchment.

Zaunithe was seriously about to sweatdrop. Two girls bickering like no tomorrow. Wow. He had never really dealt with anything like this before. Normally, before he had decided to just suddenly "change" into his newer self, he would have probably either a) bitten their heads off in one fell swoop, encouraged them to go on about the pointless argument and watch them bite each other's heads off or c) left in hurry.
It was a good thing the two were fairly level-headed. If anything else, this would more than likely start a vicious cat fight. One that Roma would, no doubt, win. Either way, Zaunithe wasn't exactly enjoying the argument, although there was little he could do about it. Besides, Roma seemed content writing her letter to Zeik. He just didn't know what Yasmin was planning to do next...
((I understand, Romes. For some reason, Fell is totally dying... we've already been at it for a while. Over a year too. Maybe it's time to find a new roleplay? O.O'))

Yasmin craned her neck to stare at her back, shifting her shoulder blades. "Don't you miss them sometimes??" This time, there were no traces of sarcasm in her voice. Ever since she had come to Fell, the dark's vampire senses had been fading. Now she wasn't even a fang excited at the prospect of blood.
She turned her head to Zaunithe and sensed his fear by the expression on his face. "Stop worrying. The blood comes later, takes a while." Now her insanity was back, Or sanity gone?? as she lost touch with herself once more in the sips of martini she took as she glanced at Roma's book.

Roma ignored them, eventually smiling to herself. "Of all the people in this place, there were always four that I could connect myself with. I guess four was the cursed number. Four siblings, four friends two of which betrayed me, and the core group of four that escaped the agents that one fateful day when my fleshed shredded into pieces and my life has tumbled into a ditch. Four stones of power, four suicide attempts, and four dips into the realm of inactivity. But I think now this four is not cursed. Of the four I could always make ends meet with, two of them are in this room. Another lost, the last happy, oblivious, already afflicted by wanderlust and out of this place. I plan to follow into the footsteps of Periya Nizzre, at this very moment." She folded the piece of paper, once and then twice in half, before facing the once dragon and the vampire.
"I do not give you the choice to follow me, but I give you the choice to escape." A talisman appeared in her hand and Roma flipped it before Zaunithe and Yasmin before she summoned yet another item which in the library’s grim light appeared to be a blade. Carefully she kneeled down on the ground and removed the jewel from her neck to place it before her. The gem protested in being treated with such dishonor and even quivered slightly as she raised the steel above her head, both hands gripped deathly tight on the sword's hilt. "Round up the souls of Fell that wish to leave, and have them touch their hand upon that stone, make them think of home, make them wish to return to their families, and if their heart is true they shall go to the place they wish to go.
"But beware, the abyss may protest against the magic and reject you. If so find Daxx, Akarui, and Syras, make them use the golden relics to form great magic. Should that come to no avail climb the tower that few have climbed to the very top and with all your will, hope to return home."
Chanting words in a voice forbidden to be heard by any others, she pressed her blade into her jewel causing it to throb and break under the tension. Calling out she breathed her last breath of the abyss and fell to the ground submitting to the white stone's cracking. Her brother was on the other side, using powerful magic of blood and bone to bring her to the mortal plane along with Periya whose sister had already finished the spell. Roma could not receive her brother's help without shattering her jewel which held her tight to Fell and because of their sibling bond Roma could not bring anybody else with her unless they too had been related to them by blood and bone. Attempting to help the people she had shared a year of her life with she left a way for them to leave, which would only work if the shattering of her jewel had done what she had anticipated; destroying the dark powers in Fell and relieving the dark phantoms of the abyss of their sly hold on the jewel holders.
And so Roma and Periya left, returning to their homes in shambles and pieces, scarred and tormented not by the Abyss, but by the spell which had freed them of the place. What came in their lives after this event must remain for another story another day.
((>> Noooo, this is meant to be a last minute post that drags my two most favorite characters of last year out of this role play for good. I know Mizz will hate me most probably, but that's okay. I'll take the heat and just hope this works. Emilie will just have to die off, she was only an experiment. I'm very sorry if I anger anybody, and I hope we can make amends at a later date. Hope I can talk to you wonderful people another day. ^^;; ))

Yasmin flinched at the "True Heart" part. Would she be accepted?? The dark stepped forward, grabbing the jewel on her neck and touching the talisman in front of her. The thought of a chance of not seeing Roma again crept across her mind and pricked her chest with regret. Yasmin hadn't yet apologized. The martini was set down on the table as she slowly stood up with a dazed look on her face. She was one of the four, destined to meet the white, and never had she the moment to make up to her.
Before turning, Yasmin hesitated. The jewel hadn't realized how close she was to Fell or Roma, and a tear trickled down her cheek as she now avertted her attention to the door. Without a goodbye, she was dashing out across the snow, running to her dorm to change quickly into her earth clothes she had been wearing when she first arrived. They were no longer tattered, for the closet's magic had mended it.
The dark did not care for whoever Roma had spoken of, and once more she darted through the slush with the wind whipping her face, a feeling of hurry speeding through her. She had reached the library, bursted into the room and started her way towards one of the windows. Pulling off her chain, she smashed her fist through the window and stepped a few paces back with the necklace in her hand. She heard a crackle come from inside her fist, tossing the gem out into the snow with total abandon.
Now she slowly glided towards the talisman, almost passing Zaunithe, when she stopped. The dark's eyes shut and she hugged the other jewel tightly. She hugged him for never saying sorry, for never really getting to know many of the important parts of Fell, and what could have been a friendship with yet another, or maybe even love. At the same time her hand grabbed for the talisman as she thought of the city streets of New York. It dropped out of her hand for Zaunithe to use before she returned home. Yasmin took a deep breath, and appeared in a darkened alley. A tail swished around between her legs for a moment as she sat on the pavement, suddenly all her former vampire features gone once again. "Damn." She muttered, cursing her luck. At least she was gone from Fell, free to live as a revived soul again. Her red eyes flashed in the moonlight as she scanned the place where she was, getting up to head over to a nearby bar.
She stuck her hands in her pockets, finding money in them as she stalked off silently, unaware of the blood that dripped off her palm from a jagged shard of emerald jewel stuck into her palm.

Periya wandered into the library, weaving in and out of the many bookcases to find her unknown destination. A kazoo was in one hand, her rose jewel the other, and she held them tight as though these things held up her entire world and kept it from collapsing. Peri was one of Roma's "four", as was Yasmin, Zaunithe, and Yaz. So it was no wonder they the girl went all the way to say goodbye and also, hello. Reaching to where Zaunithe sat, she wondered what was going through his head. I mean, Periya just witnessed Yasmin vanish from Fell. Yes, vanish from Fell as easy as one two three. She may have well clicked her heels together to get away from this place, not that Nizzre believed Yams had magical shoes.
But all the better, she noticed her parchment paper on the table along with a discarded quill and a bottle of ink. Roma was on the ground next to her chair. Jewel shattered into pieces around her, the sword being the only thing propping the white up. The ex-elementalist could very well have been dead had it not been for her twitching hands, or her trembling figure. Thinking better than to leave Kalyin's paper behind, Periya sat down in the chair and read what Roma had wrote and realized whom she had been talking to.
Clearing her throat Periya picked up the paper and began to read aloud. "Zeik Psaras, Spidertreen, Crossed Battlements; Home of Exandress. My dearest brother I ask for your assistance..." At this moment Roma's chicken scratch ended and the scrawl of her brother began. On and on it went like this, the two talking to one another, planning ways to get Roma out of Fell and back to Earth. The rest of the note read as followed.
"You need help? I guess I could lend you a hand. "Good, I need you to open up a portal Periya had used to get into Fell. Maybe everyone could worm through that and find their ways back home. "Impossible, all of the portals have been destroyed in this region, and I'm trapped in this city anyway. "Impossible? But then how will we find our ways out dear brother? "I cannot help your other friends, but I'm sure we could find a way to get you and Periya out of Fell. "We? Who is with you besides the elf Extar? "Periya's older sister, she wants Peri out of there as much as I want you out of that place. "Fine, but what about the others? "Give them your way stone, maybe it can magically teleport them out of the Abyss. But I cannot know if that would work. "Thank you brother, god speed to you.
"..." Periya finished reading the parchment and looked back at Roma once again. The woman was already being sent back home, piece by piece. Inch by inch. Soon Roma would be no more on this plane, Periya along with her. But why hadn’t the process started on her yet? "Zau- Zanu- Zawni- Zenith-san I've got to go..." A tear or two streamed down her cheek, and she walked over to give the yellow jeweled a hug. When she broke away, she asked for one last request. "Can you tell Sy-san and Akarui-san that I'll miss them, and that I love them a lot? Can you?" 'I shall tell them little one, now return home to your family. Return home and see that all will be well.'
Still crying, the voice ebbed away the fear that had been ever present in her mind. Peri set down her jewel much like Roma had and gazed down at it. "I'm sorry Miss Jewel. I've always liked looking at you, and touching you, but now I think we need to stop being friends. It isn't like I don't want you any more, okay, that actually is the case, but I just want you to know what I can't use you anymore. Sorry shuu..." With that Periya put her Kazoo into her mouth and started to buzz the funeral march rather fast while picking up her paper and bowing to Zaunithe. 'Bye bye Zenith-san!' She thought, because she couldn't tell him that with the Kazoo between her teeth.
Then she vanished, because unlike Roma, the spell had been completed for her. Periya only had to wish to go back home, and thus she did.
Hours, and I do mean hours later Periya woke up. Not where she expected either. Actually, Peri felt quite confused. Street lamps lay ahead of her, burning with... Electricity?! Since when had Fell run on modern day inventions...? "Maybe Benjamin Franklin came to Fell, and taught Yaz how to install light bulbs. Wouldn't that have been a funny thing to watch?" She giggled a giggle to rival both Trina Williams and Miranda Clark, or even Sachiko Watashiko who lived in Japan miles and miles away from here.
Roma stood behind the girl, smiling to herself. Two men stood next to her, one of a lighter built with saggy fawn colored hair and green green eyes. His leg was twisted in an odd way, but besides that, he looked strong and healthy. The other was a man who was the same age of the other. His eyes were a striking blue, while his hair was a very dark slate gray (dark enough to be called black). "I was right wasn't I bird brain? You never did learn how to die did you?" The blue eyed one asked, half grinning half smirking.
Ignoring him Roma walked up to Periya and tapped her on the shoulder. If one wanted to jump any higher than the girl with pigtails did at that moment then they would need to find a pole vault to assist them. After her moment of fright, Periya turned around, saw Roma, and then screamed again. This time just out of pure excitement. "Welcome to New York City, Periya Nizzre." Roma murmured proudly. "I hope you aren't too disappointed."
