Stepping out of the castle with her pink leather boot, a large black dress train followed shortly after, with a delicate bell-sleeve that resembled a cobweb design hanging at the hip. Yasmin shivered in the chilly weather and pulled a shawl that matched her corset sleeves tighter around her. She took a deep breath, morning mist entering her pale nostrils as she lightly continued her pace, making her way through the early dawn light. The sky was splattered with pale gray, and clouds hung low over the flowers of the lush garden.

She sighed and turned around a bit to eye a raven that had perched itself on a strong berry bush, cawing once before showing off it's glossy wings to take off once again. Her gloomy eyes followed the bird that was circling around in the sky above her. How she wished to be that free raven!! But she sensed heat that was emitting from the treasure that had binded her to the very core of this ghastly place. Her head bowed and strands of crow-black hair entangled themselves into equally dark eyelashes that bolted from her soft eyelids. Yasmin was bored and hoped to find some adventure somewhere throughout the melancholy day.

Sub-conciously, her hand floated up to grab hold of her emerald jewel that was slightly bumping against her tattooed chest. Fingers with black nails clasped the gem before letting go to pull part of the large shawl over her head, and Yasmin casted her dull blood-colored eyes around the vegetation. She bent down a little to use her thumb and fore-finger that grasped a radiant, deep red rose just below the green that wrapped itself around the ruby petals of the already-bloomed flower, as to not pinch herself on a thorn. Without much care now, she wrapped her fist around the sharp stem and raised the rose's center to her nose, allowing the blood that the thorns had released to drip down her hand, for her eyes were leaking as well.

"Some people don't like roses because they have thorns. I'm just glad thorns have roses."

{Enter Kiari, stage right}

Kiari left the stone image of a new girl behind her to explore outside. The garden was a place that held some difficult emotions. Zayreih had cursed her by giving her a flower that represented death, but it hadn't been symbolic in the way she thought it meant. In reality, the only thing that had died was her innocent disposition. In some way or another, he'd broken that shell of safety that was keeping her from beind who she really was. It wasn't the most horrible thing for her, infact, it was like he had opened the door to her bird cage. Now she could spread her wings and fly.

A finger lifted to push her magenta hair behind her ear as she stepped into the garden. Aqualine pools flittered over the many rows of flowers as she waded deeper into the sea of shrubbery. Hands trailed down the seems of her orange knit sweater, rolling over the fur that lined the edges and stopping where the drawstrings gathered to fall over the fuzzy orange pompoms. A smile slid over her face and she shook her head which caused her turquoise earrings to jingle.

She never thought she'd see a black widow standing in the middle of a garden, bleeding because of a rose held too tightly between her hands. "I don't think that's healthy..." she murmured, stepping down towards Yasmin to pry the rose out from her hand.

Yasmin crushed the rose in her palm before she dropped it and looked at Kiari. Sparks of frustration could be seen in the firey gleam in her eye. Her almond-shaped eyes were slitted in fury as she balled up her fist. The green was not happy to find company. "What makes you think I care??" She retorted, letting go of the shawl. But it did not fall to the ground, for the corners were attached to her sleeves.

She made attempts to calm herself down, but tidbits of rage still boiled inside her. To ignore her anger, she began to take in the girl who had spoken to her. Yasmin's eyes scanned over the equal jewel's hair and face, and finally looked away, as if it bothered her to see someone else in her presence. She had forgotten the blood that drenched her fist and reached up to wipe her eyes with her sleeve, which was now stained with red. "Shit." She muttered, wondering if there was a possible washer machine in the castle.

Her face was dry and the tears had now sunken deep into her skin, leaving a strange feeling where they had touched before. She let her arms droop as she stared at the sky, searching, hoping, that the raven would be somewhere nearby. Sure enough, it was still floating above her, almost watching over her.

Kiari lifted her finger and waggled it in Yasmin's nose. "Well. I care so that should make you care too." Besides, anything that made her care should be important to anyone and everyone. At least now the rose was on the ground instead of in her hand. Not to mention the fact that Yasmin was doing a marvelous job of messing up her clothing no matter how bizare and witch-like it made her look. Just add the hat and she'd be perfect for a halloween party.

"I... Uhh... Hmm." Folding her arms, Kiari looked at Yasmin. She was in a sorry state and it she appeared to be distracted by something. She was still bloody and gross, which caused her to step back and distance herself, looking the green jewel up and down. Screw it. Stepping towards her, she spread her arms and pulled Yasmin into a hug just because she looked like she needed one.

Yasmin felt the arms wrap around her. First her head was light, then heavy, stuffy. She felt too close, another body closing in on her. She became clausterphobic, but could not move, not stop the memories that began to infest her mind. Adam..... "STOP!!" The haunted thing twisted away and pushed the light back, gripping herself as the boy in her mind vanished. "The fuck do you think you're doing??" By now the green was outraged.

How dare she touch her?? A caw sounded above and she looked up to see the raven. It cawed again and swooped low, then away. The dark span around to watch it depart in fury, and then stared back at the pink haired girl. Great. Now she had to be alone with her?? Her teeth were clenched tight and she realized how her rage caused her to harm another, just as it had done to Natty. The scene of her older sister, blood covered, falling to the floor as the cowered under a familiar shadow crept upon Yasmin's mind.

She folded her arms and sat down swiftly, hoping she would not let another burst of violence escape her arms. Looking away, she thought for a moment. Making up her mind, she got up to help the girl up off the ground. After, she stalked off, hoping the flamingo-girl would follow. Yasmin tried to lead the Kiari to the sea side, where she felt calmest, soothed. Hopefully she could tell her she was sorry.
