OOC Rules - Be polite to others when out of character; don’t be cruel or anything along those lines. To give constructive criticism is one thing; to flame is another. And the latter will simply not be tolerated.
- If you feel the “need” to fight with someone, you will not do it on the boards, OOC or IC. You will take it over PMness. However, even then, it is frowned upon. If someone has done something that you don’t like, contact an administrator and we’ll do our best to get it sorted out.
- Do not randomly insert an isolated OOC post into a roleplay unless absolutely necessary. For instance, if you're not roleplaying at the board and there's something that you must say on that board for some reason, mkay. But honestly, think before you do that, because you may get a PM'ed warning telling you that it wasn't necessary if you do decide to do something of the sort. However, if you want to use OOC in the same post that you're roleplaying in, feel free. As long as it's in the same post as your character's portrayal, don't worry about it being absolutely necessary. =)
- Don’t use too much chatspeak This is a general rule, but I just want to make sure to reiterate the fact that even when you’re ooc, chatspeak isn’t tolerated. There are certainly exceptions: ‘lmao’ or ‘wth’ or ‘lol’ or something along those lines, that’s okay (as long as it's in OOC). But we don’t want you to sound like: ‘how r u doin 2day?’ or ‘wuz^’.
- Do not take OOC into IC or IC into OOC. If someone else’s character hates yours, that doesn’t mean they hate you. Remember, roleplay. Playing a role. Get it? Also, vice versa; if you don’t like someone OOC, you do not take into IC. That just wreaks havoc on roleplays.
