He grinned slightly to himself, letting a long sigh slip through his lips. There was something in the air. Something that seemed to make him move for a reason, pushing him towards a cluster of shops. Aiden was out in the town, casually strolling down the streets. He was one of those people where everyone knew of him, just did not exactly know him. He kept to himself and was often found at the library, skimming pages of old books. The books information drew him closer, making him want to learn from the past.
But today, today was different. He was not at the library, absorbing the meaning of unspoken words, but instead about town. The young man was tall and on the light boned side, slim but athletic; more of a runners or divers built. Shaggy reddish brown hair hung in his simple brown eyes, often swept back by a sun-tanned hand. A pair of worn running shoes were double knotted on his feet, scuffed up with grey streaks. Clinging to his slim torso was a dark blue collared shirt, with a pair of jeans with a belt hidden by the shirt. His gaze had fallen on a small store, almost hidden amongst its competitors. With curious eyes, he approached it and opened the door before stepping into the building itself. He knew it was an antique store but never actually had entered its walls. A soft grin had laced his lips, the musky smell of old items bringing back memories. Walking silently along, a set of rings caught his eyes. He watched them, appealed to them. Letting his hand brush the top of them, one in particular stuck out, almost warm to his touch. Lifting it from the shelf, he studied it before clasping it in his hand. With a content nod, he walked towards the cashier to check out. -------------------- Amicitiae nostrae memoriam spero sempiternam fore: "I hope that the memory of our friendship will be everlasting."
