Be kind and considerate to all those who reside here. - Please do not bring quarrels and fights to this board from other sites. 2. Please refrain from posting on the actually role play board until your character has been accepted. - You are more then welcomed to post on the OOC board though while waiting. 3. Also please refrain from speaking about politics and/or religion. - This sparks controversy only too well. - Also no racist and/or sexist talk. Your Character 1. Originality is loved! - Do not mimick or copy a character from another member unless permission is granted to do so. 2. Drama is loved, but killing off both parents for every character is a bit extreme. - We are not banning it but if it becomes repetitive, it might be put on hold. - Perhaps a divorce if you only want one parent or something along those lines. - Have a variation of backgrounds and parent/son or daughter relationships. - They could be a loving, hating or a variation of the two. 3. You may have unlimited characters BUT they must be fully active and not just lying around somewhere taking up space. - If any inactive characters are found, you will be given a certain amount of days to find an active board for it, or it will be deleted from the site. 4. Keep your characters real. I understand we all have troubles and if you can work it in well a little bit of drama is fun, but let’s not go over board please? - We want real, flawed, tangible characters. - We want characters that sometimes you don't understand and other times you hate for their whole personality. 5. Try to keep the genders equal. - I do not want to see an abundance of girls and only a few guys being role played. 6. Fallen Oaks is in a town-like setting. Most towns are not ran by only teenagers, so lets keep the ages diverse please. Role Playing Skill 1. Although I would love to see literates swarm the boards, I will not press this one rule down your throat. - Try you best to post lengthy and/or descriptive replies. Even I -the insane the insane Gelert- have resorted to one-liners from lack of thought. 2. No godmoding. This means no posts like "With one sweep of his wand BonBon killed all the rabid bunnies". - If for some reason you are involved in a physical altercation between characters, fight fair. - You can't just block every punch or kick. 3. No powerplaying please. Ex. Bob threw a book at Mary and gave her a black eye. That is powerplaying -------------------- Amicitiae nostrae memoriam spero sempiternam fore: "I hope that the memory of our friendship will be everlasting."
