Close Encounters

Walking slowly, Jessica eyed the park with a soft smile. It was the place her and Robert first met. Letting a soft sigh leave her lips, she glanced over at Robert. It took much convincing to let her brothers let her come, knowing that Zayne lurked out there somewhere.
She finally reasoned with them to let her and Robert have an hour or two alone. She was not fully alone. Robert was with her. Beside's she had her phone on her and promised to leave if she saw him or any sign of him.

So, there they were.
At the place they first met.

Robert walks over to Jess and gives her a kiss on the lips. "Hey. Glad we could actually have some time alone," robert says making sure his arm in a sling doesn't hit her.

"Hey. We finally escaped the grip of my brothers. I never thought they would let me leave without them..." She let out a soft laugh, leaning against him.
"How's your arm?"

"Better. I've got my pinky to bend to my will yesterday. I may actually get control back. Not full but it's a start." Robert said. "And you are?"

"Glad to be out of the house and under constant watch. I was afraid Kee was not going to let me come... And I almost thought he was going to lock me in my room." She replied back cheerfully with a slight laugh. "Have movement in your pinky? Wonderful. Toldja' you would regain control back." A soft laugh left her lips as she gazed at him.

"Glad you are always right," Robert says adn pecks her lips again. "So glad I'm with you. Worth everything."

She let out a small girlish giggle, pressing into him as her lips kissed the side of his mouth.
"I know I am." More laughter fell from her lips. She was in a light, airy mood. Being cramped up in the apartments did not do her good. Keelan would not even let her run and get the mail, afraid that Zayne would approach her.



He was watching. Unseen. Hidden. Waiting.

Robert kisses her back happy in this moment oblivious of the outside world. His good arm around her he holds her tight to him.

She was safe, content and happy. See, Keelan was wrong. Nothing bad was going to happen. No Zayne. Beside's he had not been seen since at the hospital, perhaps it was just a fluke. Not even him. They panicked for no reason.
The young woman returned the kiss, trailing them along his jaw line before an idea flashed through he mind. Pausing momentarily, she looked at him with mischevious eyes, a smile growing along her lips.

"What are you up to Jess?" Robert asked. This was either going to be great or end well badly. either way he'd dive in.

She laughed again, kissing his lips before pulling awaying from him.
"Tag. Your it." Jessica giggled, rising to her feet and running a few feet.
The young woman looked behind her jogging slowly, nodding slightly, hoping that he would join in on her game.
A simple game of chase. It would definately add adventure to their outing.

Robert sighs and then takes off after Jess. Running with the sling was awkward but he dealt with it trying to keep pace. "Crazy girl!" He yelled jokingly ahead to her.

She merely laughed, letting her speed increase slightly. Jessica knew she had the advantage, glancing behind her and see him fight with his sling.
"I know. Your the crazy boy chasing after me." Her pace slowed slightly as she jogged around the various trees and play equipment scattered.

Robert speeds up to match Jess. "So that's what that is?"

"Yep." She grinned toothly before abruptly changing directions and speeding up.
Her focus was on Robert, as her feet propelled her along the ground, paying little attention to where she was going.
With her attention elsewhere, anything in her path was unseen as she tripped over a tree stump. Stumbling slightly, her balance failed her as she hit the ground and rolled. Jessica shrieked at first from shock when she tripped, but now laid on her back.

Blinking, her face grimaced as pain shot through her leg before managing to try to stand. Rising slowly, she took a step out but her leg refused to work as gravity started to pull her back down. Before she hit the ground once more, a strong hand reached out and grabbed her arm, supporting her.
