Jay is a contract killer who has been trained from a young age to remorselessly kill. He is helped in this by a small mental condition which has been theorized as a form of autism. This condition is such that, at the cost of what many people would call 'sanity', he is ruthless and efficient in all his contracts.

For each of the contracts he has been sent out on, he has produced a kill, except for one. This particular victim turned out to be a vampire, and was not affected by a bullet to the heart. He narrowly escaped with his life, and soon discovered that the organization that had sent him on the mission had known and not mentioned his target's race, hoping that either one would destroy the other.
Disgusted, Jay broke all his remaining ties, and is now a freelance killer, studying the anatomy of vampires so he can kill his old target.

Due to his unusual occupation and his efficiency at doing said job, Jay has amassed a sizeable fortune in contracts and bounty money. Most of it is stored in a Swiss bank vault, but he still has enough on hand to give himself the appearance of a rich entrepeneur.

He has many idiosyncracies due to his mental condition, most notable of which is his incredible ability to do what is known as 'thinking outside the box'. Curiously, he displays great difficulty thinking in conventional means as most people do. He also has a tendency towards being obsessive, and once contracted will not stop until the target is dead.
He has named his favourite weapon, a modified SSG550 Sniper Rifle, 'Tim'. The reasons for this are still unknown.

Current Status
During an FVZA mission in Montana in which Jay was assissting, an encounter with the vampire known as Randall passed the HVV virus on to Jay, who was unable to treat it in time. He himself is now of the race of vampires. He is now tracking a group of vampires, led by Vincent, that he knows to have ties with the Order of the Broken Cross. His main intent is to make sense of his now twisted existence. Jay's whereabouts are currently unknown, but it has been speculated that he has crossed the border into Washington state.
