Fvza Rpg > OOC Forum > The Inspections Mission

Posted by: Cyber78 Jul 9 2007, 06:38 AM
Ok, the latest mission is currently up and running and is title Inspections. This will be the thread to discuss large OOC stuff. Also I'm going to note a few things about this mission.

1. Standarized armories come into effect on this mission. Start being a gun rebel and I'll start editing posts.

2. Concerning FVZA, I figured that putting in a weapons rating availibility wouldn't look right in an official briefing since it's just supposed to be a routine inspection. But I'll say this, since all the guns are supposed to be in the armory I don't want to see anything larger than a handgun unless you go down to the armory and get something yourself. If you want your character to cheat a bit and have a handgun and/or a knife with them that's fine, but you can't keep a shotgun under your desk. At least not until the higher ups are gone.

3. Due to some form of forum glitch, the thread will not show as being updated. Therefore I advise that you check on the thread often to check for new posts.

Now that that's out of the way, I wish everyone a good time.

Mission can be found at;

As goteamventure has pointed out to me, I completely forgot to set a time of day for this mission. So after some figuring, this mission will take place in the evening, around say five or six o'clock.

Ok people, bad news. Due to some really funky glitch, none of the new posts from today are even showing until you go to reply. I'm not a computer expert so I've got no idea what the hell is happening, nor do I know the proper method of fixing it. So this is going to be a real pain, but I'm temporarily locking the thread for a short time. What I'm going to do is start a new thread with the admin account, copy and paste all of the posts that are currently on the mission, and then we'll start from where we left off.

I'm really sorry for the inconvenience, but this is the only way I can think of to fix this since the split topic function doesn't work.

We've run into an error again, thus the thread is closed again. I've noticed that the only time we have problems is in the battlefield, so I'm going to move the threads in it, delete the battlefield, and then just make one combat forum.

Sorry 'bout all this.

I asked in the thread, but I'll ask here, too. Everytime I posted, it told me a moderator was going to preview the post. It then took me to the thread and showed my post. Was that a symptom of the problem?

Hmm... most unusual.

Either way I've put up a new battlefield forum where I fiddled with the permission settings a bit. We'll see how this goes.

Somebody do me a favor and try posting in Inspections 3.0 please.

*sigh* It's working, somewhat. The forum still ain't doing what it's told.

Time for customer support...

And even though the help forum that invisionfree has was no help at all, I do believe that I've fixed the forum (while as my alter persona Adminbot3000).

So in the meantime let's all get drunk in celebration.

Yeah, I really need to get in missions from the begining. I'm afraid I'll have to duck out of this one after one post. dry.gif Stupid travel schedule.

Well think of it this way. Zippo, at least you're getting to go places. Rhodes, at least you've got your priorities straight.
