Addition:
Sam was medical retired after losing most of his foot in an RPG attack in Afghanistan. He retained his reserve officer status as commander of Detachment A, 202nd Military Police Battalion. He has considered many times retiring from the FVZA recently but eventualy decided to continue once he realized there was nothing he could do outside of goverment service.
