OOC: This is my first post so i would appreciate someone Rping it out with me. Please be nice
I open my eyes in the early a.m., about seven a clock in the morning. The traffic outside is, as always horrendous. Turning the t.v on i listen to the new crimes committed overnight as i put my jeans, t-shirt, and shoes on. Just for a laugh with the people on the street, i put my eight ounce sparring gloves on. I switch off the tv rather clumsily and manhandle the door open and close it.
Then i begin to run to the post office that is sixteen blocks away. On the way there i throw several boxing combinations into the air and duck and dodge amid the bustling crowds of New York.

New York City, home of the Statue of Liberty, the Yankees, and the Nintendo store. Walking down the streets I found myself realizing that I was surrounded by people, and I no longer knew where I was going. Just another day in New York.

I try to run the whole length of the four blocks that are in the straight part of my route to the post office. Though at one point I have to stop and catch my breath at a freind of mine's magazine stand where I buy a newspaper and a yoohoo, strawberry. I fold the newspaper up after reading it and set off on my next leg of the run.
Running through the city I turn a corner only to run smack into a person. We impact and both fall to the ground.
My first response is to bring up my hands in a defensive posture. I quickly begin to apologize. "Hey, bro I didn't mean anything, just a blind corner thats all."

"Not a problem, we all make mistakes." I said as I pick myself up off the New York sidewalk.

I keep my hands up in a defensive posture, trying not to seem threatening. I sized the man up unconsciously, a side effect of being a amateur boxer.
I slowly let my hand drop to my sides as the busy New York hustle and bustle pass us by for what seems like an eternity. The sun begins to bake down upon the streets and kids begin to loosen the bolts of fire hydrants, making a pretty ghetto water park.
Then I hold one hand out to the strange man. "My name is Gideon, what's yours?"

"My names Miller, nice to meat you Gideon." I said, noting the defensive posture in my mind.

"Well, Mr. Miller, I gotta go to the post office."
I pause for a moment to gather my thoughts. "Im supposed to be getting some information about a job opportunity with some government agency." I stand there holding my hands upon my head to allow my breathing to even out and become deeper.

"Huh, what a coincidence. Seeing as I was in the area after a recent mission I've been instructed to deliver some documents for a potential new recruit for a government agency. There was a slight mix-up that resulted in it not actually being sent by mail, so they e-mailed the files to me at the last minute." I said, wondering if by some strange coincidence I wouldn't have to actually go to the post office to deliver the documents I was carrying on a floppy disk.

Upon the hearing the ironic things that Miller says, I think about it for a moment before speaking. "If you have an address for the person, maybe i can help you find them?"

Says it's for a 342, Dekalb Avenue. Somewhere in Brooklyn. I'm not from around here, so I don't suppose you know where that's at do you?" I asked, looking at a piece of paper with some notes scribbled on it.

I search my mind for a moment, then the address hits me like a truck. I look at the apparent courier with a shit eating smile on my face. "Well, Miller. Brooklyn is on the other side of the city." I turn and point towards that particular area.
"But, there is another Dekalb Avenue, here in the Five Points." I continue, but leave off there. Excitement coursing through my veins. Maybe this is the word I was supposed to be waiting for from that Agency.... The idea flashes through my mind.
