History: Paul was born in 1981 in Munich, Germany. But his parents were American citizens, so he had dual citizenship in Germany (due to being born there). His family lived in New England, and he grew up in a quiet rural town in notheastern CT. He attended private school and eventually went to Brown, where he now teaches as a professor of medieval history in europe pre 1250. However, being a German citizen, he had to do his conscription time in the army before he went to college. However, Paul continued his studies during his stint in the Bundeswehr (in which he also gained valuable military training), and was able to graduate with an MBA in 2003. He earned his Phd in 2005, and has taught at Brown since august of 2006.
+ He also speaks 3 languages other than english.
French, German, and he can read Latin.
What brought him to the fight against the paranormal was essentially a growing interest from his readings of medieval texts, as well as an incident that occured in June of 2006, when Paul, along with a group of friends, ventured into the backwoods of Romania. All that will be said now, is that Paul was the only one who made it out alive.
