Many Phantom of the Opera role playing websites focus around the years after Christine and Raoul's happy ever after. However, Eriks Opera takes pleasure in being a little different. So, instead of having our setting back in the 1800's, we decided to create a modern day POTO role play. The famous Opera Populair is still standing and sees thousands of people through its doors each year. With the legend of the Opera Ghost still floating around, surprises arise at every corner. Over a century ago when the events of Erik and Christine took place, it was rumored that Christine bore Erik’s only descendent. However, years past and everything was how it should be, so the ideas were quickly pushed away. What happened to Christine and Raoul remains a mystery, but there could still be a de Changy heir hidden amongst the world. Will they arise and take fame at the Opera Garnier? Or will the long lost child of Erik return to wreak havoc upon the stage once again? Maybe a new face will face through the doors and take the world by surprise. It all depends on what you choose to do and how you will live your days at the Opera.
