Welcome to Eriks Opera. We are striving to make your role playing experience as painless as possible, so we have a few rules that we ask you abide by.

No Spamming!
-Posts shorter than 10 lines [outside of the OOC Lounge] will not be permitted.
-Messy nonsense and smiley only posts are also considered spam and will be deleted.
-Intense usage of smiles and/or punctuation marks is not tolerated.
-Anyone who is unable to comply with these rules will be warned and their post will be
deleted without notice. If the behavior continues, the offender will be banned from
any special events and/or restricted from certain areas until they are capable of
understanding the rules. Banning does not usually happen for said offenses.

Posting!
-Please try not to double post. Just try to edit your post if you forget to
add something. If you do double post every-now-and-again, it is no big deal.
But please do not do it often.
-"K3wl Ta1k" is not accepted or tolerated here. If you cannot comply with this,
then I ask you not to join. Just type out your posts in sentences with the best
spelling and grammar that you can. Little mistakes won't get you banned.
-All role plays must be written in third person. No “I” or “Me” unless they are
thinking or talking about themselves.

No Bashing Other Members!
-DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT discriminate or hate against another members
religion, beliefs, opinion, preference, etc.
-People who break this rule will only get one warning. After that, they will be
suspended for a certain amount of time. If they continue to be disrespectful,
permanent banning will be in order.

There May Be Kids Around!
-Keep all content on the boards under the rating of R. PG-13 is alright as
long as it does not get out of hand.
-Pornography and adult materials are prohibited!
-Cursing should be at the very minimum if not any. We understand that
characters will be characters and it is just in their nature to say things, but
please try to keep the language down.

Usernames!
-Usernames must be sensible and user friendly. You can use a character name or
another username as long as: it is not offensive to anyone, it uses at least semi
proper grammar/spelling, and is pleasant for all eyes.
-If a username is created that breaks the rules, you will automatically be banned and
therefore forced to create an account that follows the said rules.

Sigs&Avies
-Please use real life people to portray your characters. While we understand
that many people enjoy anime or drawing, we’d appreciate it if you’d keep your
pictures to real life people.
-Signatures may be no bigger than 500x300 and avatars may be no bigger than 100x100
-The same rules that apply to the site apply to your avatars and signatures.
No profanity, pornography, adult material, or anything of the sort will be permitted.
-Celebrities used to portray character must resemble them as closely as possible.
-Please check the celebrity claim before using a celebrity to portray your character.
