Background: Aimé was born to a middle class couple in the early hours of the morning on March 18th, 1988. His parents had met at a production being put on by a local theatre company and fell in love almost immediately. His father had always enjoyed acting, but his family was too poor to enroll him in any sort of school to give him proper training so he settled for his second love, chemistry, and studied to become a teacher. His mother on the other hand, had been trained as a classical ballerina until she fell down a flight stairs at age seventeen and broke her knee, ruining any chance of being recruited by a professional ballet company. Convinced that they would not allow anything to come between their children and their dreams, the young parents enrolled their two children in nearly every performance class they could find.
To Olivier's and Estelle's immense relief, Aimé and his sister Michelle enjoyed their lives as young performers. Aimé quickly discovered that singing and acting were his strong points, and he thoroughly enjoyed his ability to make his family smile or laugh at any given moment. After watching an old film entitled "Captain Blood," Aimé became horribly fascinated with stage combat and his father grandly rose to the occasion by enrolling him in fencing and boxing lessons. There was a short period of time in which he gave up singing in order to pursue these two aspects of his life a bit further, and it wasn't until he was sixteen that he began taking private voice lessons once more.
He was first hired by the Opera Populaire as a member of the chorus when he was eighteen. After spending a season with the company (and many, many nights with several of the women in the company) he was asked to re-audition for the part of Spoletta in the opera
Tosca. He got the part and has been playing smaller and often comedic roles for the company ever since.

All was peaceful aboard The Decorus Traba. The elegant ship drifted peacefully along in the evening fog. One might have thought that the ship were deserted if it were not for a young man seated idly on the railing, gazing out at the vast waters that he had called home for many years now. He was peeling an apple with a small knife, quietly humming a sea chante as he did so. The crew were below, presumably asleep, saving their strength for the work ahead of them the next day. Not Randall.
Ever since his youth, Randall had dreamt of a seafaring life... Though, he had to admit, being kidnapped by pirates when he was eleven and talking his way out of being killed was not exactly what he had had in mind. Captain Jonathan Windson, captain of The Decorus Traba and a man very near death by now, had allowed Randall to stay on as a cabin boy. He learned how to fight, but chose not to kill his opponents whenever possible; for no matter how much he enjoyed this new life, he would never lose his sense of right and wrong. Conscience, a trait many of his associates was sure would be his downfall, had actually turned out to be more of a blessing than a curse. Many of the men whose lives he had spared would have gladly returned their gratitude with payments of gold and food and pleasurable company, though Randall was unwilling to accept any of these. Apart from his good nature, he had been found to be one of the most trustworthy pirates around and was quickly promoted from his position as cabin boy to second mate. To betray a man such as this would have been a rather unwise move for any man to consider.
Though his life since joining piracy had been a fair one, Randall could not help thinking that he was missing out on the many aspects of life which he had been looking forward to... Being in love, especially. He had never been in love. It was not so much the fact that he had never, not once, felt even an ounce of adoration for a woman that bothered him: In fact, it was more that it didn't bother him at all that bothered him. Was he really starting to become one of the creatures he associated himself with every day - cold, dejected, and merciless? He certainly hoped not. And that's why he was doing it. He was going to start a new life on another ship, with another captain, and another crew.
He was jumping ship.
Tonight.
