In this particular part of the world we are pretty damn lucky. In Elliot Lake there are no hurricanes, tornados, floods, pestilence, heat warnings, earth quakes, drought, mercenaries roaming around killing people and not too much else exciting either. (That’s good)
I guess we can bitch about local politics, pot holes, bears and stuff. There may be the odd rat around. You’ve got to admit it’s a great place to live when compared to Syria: A beautiful country governed by psychotic maniacs. With news of the recent horrible massacres of civilians I hope that Russia and China will change their stance and join the rest of the civilized world to stop this abomination. I find it hard to believe that the human race really hasn’t evolved at all, and likely never will.  |

It should all fall apart real soon. I would just hope the west stays out of it. Let China and Russia go fix it.
