Alright, just my way of commenting why that fight wasn't mentioned on here considering the pre-publicity, and if it would have been if the outcome had been different. Because how many of us were expecting that smart-ass, elitist Liberal bastard to easily get his ass kicked, which obviously didn't happen.

Trudeau may have won that fight but he ain't no fighter.

I also heard that Brazeau is a Karate Black Belt ?!? Really??!! They must just be giving those things out these days if that is the case.

I think the odds were 3-1 against Trudeau, but I could only get even with a friend, still making $100.

Question is, I thought at the time what advantage does a Karate Black Belt have in a boxing fight in a ring with boxing rules against someone who apparently has been amateur boxing for years? Was I just lucky with misplaced confidence or got it right?

Any competent black belt should have the hand strikes, blocks and footwork to hang with an experienced boxer. Brazeau threw a bunch of bombs right at the start and then ran out of gas, Trudeau had his way after that. I would think that a black belt would also be in better shape.
