Wasn't worth trying to pass in those road and weather conditions, IMHO

I just watched that video somewhere else and I have to say I'm glad I saw it today and not yesterday when I had to drive to Sudbury in that awful weather. People make me wonder. The roads were not good. Visibilty was lousy. And still people felt a need to pass. I just don't get it.

I can't say I blame you LG. There are a lot of idiots out there that do some pretty stupid stuff. I can't believe what I have seen on the roads of Northern Ontario....never mind in more populace areas with more lanes of traffic. sad.gif

Thanks i have driven on the 17 in a whiteout, terrifying, also driven on other roads in Canada, 41, 69, been caught in bad weather, but thank god i follow the golden rule, you will get there either way , so keep it safe, i drove the whole 41 from Pembroke to the 401, some of the most beautiful scenery i have seen, not a bit of snow in Feb, crossed over at Ganacqua, hit 81 and was pummeled with snoe from Watertown all the way to 476, the blue route outside of Philadelphia.

Truth be told Johnny you're more likely to get there if you play it safe and slow the hell down. I don't know why people are in such a hurry to get where they're going when the roads are a mess. I'd rather take longer to get there and arrive alive than ignore the conditions and arrive in an ambulance..or a hearse.
