Title: U.S. Politics

Anyone else been watching those 4 Republicans for at least the past month trying to explain why they should be leading the U.S./World next year? I think very scary stuff for anyone of reasonable intelligence paying attention, i.e., what if one of them actually wins? It could happen, Bush did.

Just watched the comedian Lewis Black's opinion that all those debates should have been televised in B&W so any viewer would have the oportunity to pretend it was still 1958.

Mostly about Abortion and Birth Control and Gays and Family Values. Where do they really stand on domestic and foreign policy? Who knows, but all 4 sure keep trying to appear as Real Americans, by deciding to appeal to that lowest, dumbest denominator of that voting population.

When did it first start to happen that a slimeball hate-monger like Limbaugh could become someone, like a few Media others, that they decided to follow or pretend to? Not the party I remember living over there.

And Family Values? Isn't that just code for redneck bigotry when they use it? Because whenever one of them use it they never seem to offer an exact definition.

Limbaugh apparently wants any single woman who thinks birth controll meds should be covered under private insurance plans should be willing to provide a sex tape. Myself, unlike that fat, junkie slimeball, I wouldn't be interested. But if he offered one of himself, maybe, invite friends over to laugh and enjoy.

To be honest, I haven't watched much of the American debates. In part because my views or opinions don't matter, and I don't get to vote.

Rush Limbaugh ! Is he for real ? I find it quite scary that this clown actually has a following.

The other reason is we have a comedy show of our own with a large group of clowns, most of home wear red ties in parliament. Still not able to accept loss and simply get down to making this country work. I suspect that no party is innocent or perfect, but I for one am sick of politicians who waste our parliamentary sittings bickering over matters that should simply be handed over to one department or another to be resolved. Then move on to more important items such as deficits, job creation, homeland security, immigration, old age pension,
