Mister x - February 14, 2012 05:09 PM (GMT)
looks 40 and needs to lose 200 lbs lol

EasyRider - February 14, 2012 05:12 PM (GMT)
She has an incredible voice, is a dedicated and hard working performer, and has an education in music. I'm tempted to remove your post because it is just uninformed and mean for no good reason. I wish I had even a tiny portion of the talent this young person has

ajfan - February 14, 2012 06:17 PM (GMT)
Agreed....recognize the talent - period!
Must be nice "Mr. "X"" to be perfect. We were taught if you couldn't say something nice then don't say anything at all. You must be bored...or maybe just boring and looking for an argument.

Tinkle - February 14, 2012 06:21 PM (GMT)
Wow..talk about harsh. What is it with people who feel this need to put down people, others, thoughts, ideas, opinions????? Why is everyone so intolerant?

Take a look in the mirror Mister X. Are you perfect? Can you honestly say there is nothing about you or in you that needs work? I'm thinking not so maybe just take that good advice, nothing good to say then don't say anything at all.

tamriel - February 14, 2012 08:25 PM (GMT)
Wow! What a childish remark!

Justin - February 14, 2012 09:21 PM (GMT)
Anyone that can pull off a hit with her voice and little more than just a piano in the background has my vote.

Lots of passion in her singing, and I think she's gorgeous.

Someone like you

Sammy - February 14, 2012 09:44 PM (GMT)
wtf?
what has her weight got to do with anything?
sorry for the acronym but seriously you clearly have issues with self esteem.

hmm - February 15, 2012 12:39 AM (GMT)
What a TOOL... Jus sayin..

Prewitt - February 15, 2012 03:37 AM (GMT)
And even funnier to me than X's comment was a few weeks ago when some apparently famous "designer" critized her weight and the photo with the story showed some apparent Silly Old Queen looking like he belonged in a wax museum.

I'm with you, Justin. Give me the voice. Still determinedly stuck in the early and mid-70's, so forget the performer's appearance and smoke and mirrors and noise and lip sync and whatever else seems to do it now.

And she is a very pretty lady.

Conan - February 16, 2012 02:19 AM (GMT)
Not only is she beautiful, I saw an interview with her and she is a character. Not to mention an incredible voice.

Great story too, taking a breakup and turning it into, best album, song and artist at the Grammy's. It's too bad that Mr X couldn't do the same and turn his miserable existance and attitude into something positive to get him out of mom's basement. :)

Prewitt - February 16, 2012 03:24 AM (GMT)
Janis, Conan? She also had a few extra lbs, at least according to somebody's definition, but just ask anyone who was a male fan at the time and still remembers, Whoa!, she could definitely get it going.

I've read a print interview Adele gave some time ago and she definitely sounds like a great woman, and a lot of enjoyment/appreciation for any man lucky enough to find out.

StarLightStarBright - February 16, 2012 03:15 PM (GMT)
From what I saw watching the grammys, there were quite a few full bodied beautiful women. Buddy is just used to racky anorexic junkies.

Justin - February 16, 2012 03:22 PM (GMT)
When it comes to weight, that's a whole new subject, and North America pretty much dominates I believe.

ajfan - February 16, 2012 06:14 PM (GMT)
Has anyone even mentioned that she's just 23 years of age? Ummm...Mr "X"...I think it may be fair to ask what major accomplishment of yours comes to mind at 23 years old? Talent comes in many ways, shapes and forms...it's God-given and she certainly has it.

sparked_an_interest - February 18, 2012 02:18 AM (GMT)
=:baghead: cuz if we don't fit society's definition of beauty, this is what we should be wearing....

Mister x - February 18, 2012 07:15 AM (GMT)
in that condition: red as a tomato... dead by 30.

Dear Miss's X

I spent a few days thinking about what I could say regarding your post.
When it came to me during a BM.
Why are you so upset with this young ladies accomplishments?
Why must you insult her?
Are you jelous of her?
What right do you have to insult her?
Are you perfectly fit?
Have you accomplished anything in your life that comes even close to what she has done?

Please share with this forum the reason's you choose to be so harsh on her your comments are by far no way for a young lady such as yourself to behave.
