Dublin manager Paul 'Pillar' Caffrey continues in experimental mode for Sunday's O'Byrne Cup semi-final against Meath which is set to draw an unseasonally large crowd to Parnell Park (2.0).

However, he must attempt to plot the downfall of Eamon Barry's Meath without Alan Brogan. Brogan, who scored four crucial points from play againt Wexford, is sidelined through injury.

Ger O'Meara, who this year opted off the senior hurling panel in favour of football, will make his debut in a very inexperienced half forward line alongside Round Towers, Clondalkin's Derek Murray and David McConn of St Mary's, Saggart.

Barry Cahill is once again named at full-back while Niall O'Shea, who made his debut against UCD in the first round, returns to the starting 15 after missing the Wexford victory due to injury.

Coman Goggins - a sub against both UCD and Wexford - will fill the No 6 berth and is flanked by David Henry and newcomer Greg Lewis, who has impressed in the competition to date.

Daibheach Dineen and Colin Prenderville were not considered due to injuries while Shane Ryan is named among the subs after having his 12-week suspension lifted during the week
