i wasn't sure where to place this, but i had an idea for a submission that could be used as a finisher for whoever wants it. basically using your right arm place your opponent in a half nelson, and with your left arm apply a sleeper hold. hope this somehow helps someone

oh damn, didnt realise that, in that case how bout this, a boston crab, but when you pick up your opponents feet, place them both in your left arm, whilst facing away from your opponent, then when you roll them over you should have both legs in both arms, and be facing your opponent whilst applying pressure

Edge used that but he crossed the legs like a sharpshooter then turned them over while facing them. Or alternatively, Danny Garnell did it on LDN a couple times

Quite frankly most moves have already been done 1 way or the other.

That's a good point, Josh - I've lost track of how many times I've had an idea for a move then a few weeks later I've dialled up some random match on Youtube, and lo and behold, there's Sara Stock/ Mariko Yoshida/ Mistico/whoever busting it out a year ago, hahaha!

But hey, there's nowt wrong with a well-executed non-innovated move :)

Although, if I see anyone nicking my Fall of Man or bodyscissored dragon-sleeper, I might get rapey. Y'all been warned, y'hear :P

Good ideas, statu, keep working at it!

Yh my finisher although looks different is just a standing dimand dust but that's the way to be inventive. Take old moves and put em in a different position or somethng like that. Like a DDT ona chair is still a DDT but looks more powerful.

hopefully this one aint been used, with your opponent on the ground set up for a shooting star press, by the time you are ready to jump they should be standing and facing you. do a shooting star press but add another 180 degrees to the jump and turn it into a leaping reverse STO

That was Edge's electric chair drop. I think he used it when he first came into WWE, so you'll find he has it in most of his game versions to this day. And if I recall correctly, it was also Kanyon/Mortis' finisher from behind on WCW/NWO Revenge on the N64~~~~~~!!!!!

I thought a good move for a finisher would be hoist the opponent up for a brainbuster, then a split second before the drop, release your hand from their waist and lock it in a butcher's hook grip with your other hand. The bump and execution are pretty much a standard brainbuster, but the altered grip means it can be sold as a vertical drop DDT.

If you're looking for some innovation, I'd really recommend getting on Youtube or DailyMotion and checking out some Mexican, Japanese, and women's wrestling. Hop on Wikipedia and get some names, then have a look for their matches. There's some awesome stuff being done out there, ripe for the nicking, lol!

Yeah, that's what u gotta do. Not make a whole new move but tweak an old one.
