.:.1.:. Wait for me in the Rain... she said.:.

The skies were dark, and dreary. Rain, splattered against a young writers window. Delicate ivory fingers, typed away at a laptop. And the click click clicking sound of the keys, echoed through-out the empty apartment. Eventually, the young female sighed, and stood to her feet, walking into the small room that was supposed to act as a kitchen. She had a beat up refridgerator, that looked as if it'd been decades since it'd been cleaned. A burner that served as a stove, and a toaster oven, that played its role as an oven. She opened the tattered fridge, and grabbed herself a 'Silk" container, poking the straw hastly through its silvered pocket.

Outside the womans apartment building, a girl, maybe about 17 years old, stood there. Umbrella-less. Dull looking as can be. She wore a SeiSei-High uniform, one of Tokyo's highest intellectual school. Kids who got accepted there, were usually high class snobs, who had everything served to them on a silver platter. But this girl was just downright plain. Unintresting. And low class. She wasn't liked much, therefore, had no friends. Her parents pushed her to be the person she was. STUDY! STUDY! Was the only thing that ever crossed her mind, seemingly echoing, hollering in her mind. She had no time for anything else, human or not.

Inside looking out, the Authors fingers lingered at the keys, while she took the time to stare out the ridgid glass window, that was currently naked due to the lack of blinds. A thought suddenly hit her like a ton of bricks. She had to go out and get dinner. There was nothing in the house but Ramen, and Soy Milk, which she was beginning to grow tired of. Lounging around in nothin' but a bra, and boxer shorts, she waltzed towards her open bedroom, and sat down on her bed. Turning towards a neatly piled stack of clothes, she imagined how nice it would be to finally have a dresser. She finally picked out, a pair of Tripp pants, stitched with neon green lining, and a really big dress shirt. As she dressed, she admired herself in the mirrow. She had a face like a supermodel, but had a body like a stick. After putting on her essential every day things-- eyeliner, lipgloss, and a few chains here and there... she was out the door. Jingling all the way.

The now drenched young woman, turned around, and faced the building. Her mind blank. She headed for the apartment building directly in front of her. She swung the door open with one hand, and barely scattered in. She took a place on the bottom step, leading towards the second floor. Drawing her knees to her chest, she leaned against the railing. At the sametime, the Writer was coming down the stairs.....

She stopped. Looked at the girl who was curled up on the stairs.

"Fueng Wu..." The woman uttered, lowly. Her eyes widened in shock. She eyed the red head up, and down. She was the same as before. Down to every crease in her face. Her breasts, still small. Her legs still bone. Fueng Wu, apparently fast asleep, roused just a tad. Enough to make 21 year old, Sayuki Kitayoki, back up.

.:.2 Dirty.:.

Placing her hand, on her heart, she felt her cheeks begin to burn. Standing there, she yearned to touch Feung Wu's face. Cup her cheek, and caress it. Pulling away, she knew she could do nothing. So instead, she walked out the door, just like she had the last time. Mentally beating herself, Sayuki's eyes began to water. Crystal tears, ran down her face. She picked up her pace, just in case Feung Wu were to awake, and find her selfishly cowarding out on her. Just like before. Before she knew it, she walked straight into the heart of the city. Farther then needed be. Since she was there, she decided to stop by, and visit an old friend of hers.

Feung Wu's eyes, shot open. She thought the woman she loved, was there. She could smell her. Strawberry Vanilla scented the room. She began to sob. Tears, not yet there. It seemed as though they all disappeard. Dried up. Gone. She already wasted them. She sifted through bright, red hair. Her deep, blue eyes closed. "How.... why.... She...." was all the young person could utter. Memories, flashed through her mind. Kisses here, and there. Hands that wandered. She felt it all, then and there, like it was real. Goosebumps covered her pale flesh. The hairs on her neck stood. Here they came. Once they came, they would never stop. Why? Why here? Was it meant to be, stumbling in drunk HERE? High on the ecstacy of the moment...Feung Wu simply layed her head across her knees. She'd wait. Right here. Until Sayuki returned. IF.... she returned.

Slowly, as if avoiding something, Sayuki paced up and down 44th street. Looking into the window of a small town resturant where her and Feung Wu used to sit, and talk. She remember the day she met that girl. Clear as day. So many sweet memories, made in that place. She walked up to the door, and entered. She was hesitant. Taken off guard, someone jumped on her. Knocking her to the ground. Customers stared. Smiled. Laughed. And continued with their own business.

"Guess who!" A squeaky voice bellowed out.

"Y-...Yumi-Chan?" Stammered Sayuki, as she got to her feet, and shrugged off the little runt. Another girl, about Fueng Wu's age, stood before her. "When did you start working here...?" Said she.

"Not too long ago. How is Fueng Wu?! She was transferred out of Gakkan Urayasu in the middle of the year.... I assumed... it was because she was moving in with you.... Sayuki-San" Obviously, shocked. This was the first she'd ever heard of something... this huge. She heard Fueng Wu transferred, but it had nothing to do with her. It was foolish on Fueng Wu's account. To not even mention anything to her. Her so called lover. Angry, Sayuki slammed her fist into the table. The sound echoed throughout the room. Patrons, ceased eating. Sitting there, puzzled look upon their faces. Why? How come she had no intentions of telling her about it?

.:.3 Honesty.:.

It honestly didn't really matter. There Fueng Wu waited, just like she said she would. As Yumi seated Sayuki, she interrogated her thoroughly. When, Where, Why, and How's were asking. Over, and over again. Until she was tired of talking. There was a silence. A long, painful silence. As Sayuki closed her eyes, she felt Yumi touch her shoulder.

"She wasn't the one, anyway, Say.... I'm sure... you'll find m-- I... I mean someone someday." The colour red stained her cheeks like blood. Sayuki, took a piece of Yumi's purple hair, and placed it behind her ear. But Yumi really wanted to know what happend between the two star crossed lovers. Or so she thought for all these years. Sayuki's eyes glassed over. She though the tears were going to start again. She asked herself again why.. why did she show up? Why did she have to FLUFFY with her feelings again? "Yumi-Chan... It was nice having tea with you again. But I must be going now. I still have to pick up dinner. And I still have to clear my thoughts. No offense, but talking to you just made it worse. I don't know whats going to happen now, but I'll be sure to visit again." Her lips were smiling, but her eyes weren't. Something Yumi noticed immediately.
Sayuki bowed, and continued for the door. Yumi, had something else in mind. She ran after her, and grabbed her arm. "Yumi... wha--" She was cut off. Yumi had yanked her down, and pressed her lips right against hers. Sayuki's eyes widened. She outstretched her palms, and pushed Yumi back. People began to stare again. A couple even got up, and left. Making both women feel like the kind of people they were, was wrong. "Yumi. I'm sorry." Said Sayuki. She turned away, and walked out. As soon as feet touched the concrete she began to run as fast as she could.

"What the BUNNIES! Why is this happening!? WHY NOW!?" She sobbed, as she flew down 44th street, heading back to where Fueng Wu waited patiently. She knew she'd come back. Knew she'd fall into her arms again. Just like back in those days. Where both of them knew what the other felt for eachother. And Sayuki was just running in to another heartbreak. She arrived at her apartment, where she froze. Standing at the door. Looking into the glass. She could see Fueng Wu, but Fueng Wu couldn't see her. Her heart began to beat rapidly. She didnt know wether she should go in. What would happen? What would she say? What would, she, herself, do? Would she welcome her with open arms, or a slap in the face.

Her breath increased. Blowing out smoke, and the temperature dropped. 15 minutes....20 minutes... a half an hour.. she stoof there. People passed her by. Asked if she needed help. She refused. She was shattering. Finally, she placed a hand on the door... and pulled it open. Fueng Wu, turned around. She eyed Sayuki. A smile crept upon her lips.

.:. 4 It all come haunting back.:.

"Took you long enough." Fueng Wu mouthed, lowly. She trudged her way towards Sayuki, wrapping her arms around the older womans neck. Her breath reeked of booze. Old booze. Was she stealing from her Father again?

"I... I dont... no. Fueng... Feung Wu..." It felt.. awkward. Saying her name. And it hurt like BUNNIES to say it THIS way. Her expression changed from worried, to confused.

"Whats the matter, baby? Didn't you miss me?" Her hand was wandering about her back, and Sayuki didn't like it. She rather ditch the girl, then to have her do something she might regret. Thus came the guilt. What if she let her go, and something were to happen? It would weigh on her soul like a ton of bricks, and she didn't want that. Not when she knew her parents..."Fueng Wu, lets go upstairs to my apartment.." She took the girls hand off her arse, and took it into her own. Leading the girl one foot at a time, up the stairs. She rummaged through her pocket, to find a keyring, with only a single key. She opened the door, and Fueng Wu tried to race her through the door, failed, and fell on her face. What did she do to herself?

"Baby, come here. Sit with me. I missed you. Did you miss me?" She repeated this at least four times. Sayuki didn't know what to do. So she went, and sat next to her lover... was she her lover? "What ever happend to us, huh?" Said Fueng Wu. She needed to sober up. She needed to know what she was doing. Sayuki ... didn't want to get taken advantage of. But at the same time, she didn't want to deny the girl. In her heart, she knew it was wrong. But yet she simply didn't care. She really... just didn't care. Fueng Wu layed her down on the sofa, and kissed the nape of her neck. Biting. Suckling. Sayuki pushed her off.

"I can't. Not until I know.... that you know, what your doing... I'm sorry..." Fueng Wu sat there. Confused.

"Bab--"

"DONT CALL ME THAT!....Don't.... don't call me..." She began to sob. She slid down, and cradled her knees against her chest. She was shattering. And there was nothing anyone could do about it.

Short Chapter. I'm tired. XD

.:. 5 And the flashbacks flow to and fro .:.

Fueng Wu sat, and looked. Stared. Puzzeled but Sayuki's outburst. Was it something she did? Wasn't she just expressing what she though Sayuki wanted? She needed to sleep. Her head was splitting. Sayuki's sobs filled her head. Echoed like a whales screech. She forced herself to cover her ears, and she layed down on the couch again. Burying her head in a mound of pillows. Sayuki cried herself to sleep.

Hours later, the phone rang. Sayuki didn't bother with it. As it rung off the hook, over, and over, she sat there. Eventually, the person on the other line let the answering machine pick up the call.

"Hey guys. This is Sayuki, AND FUENG WU!" then there were giggles. We can't pick up the phone right now, so leave a message and we'll be sure to get back to you!"

"Sayuki... how could you keep that after all these years.... I'm worried about you... please call me back. Its Yumi". She was... worried? What would make her worry? Nothing was said to her at the resturant. She didn't tell her Fueng Wu was in her apartment building. Unless, Yumi had been lying to her, and she knew what Fueng Wu was going to do. Oh the tangled web we weave.... Fueng Wu rustled on the couch. She was coming to....

"What... where... how..."

"Did you get here?" Sayuki finished off the sentence. Fuent Wu just nodded. "You were drunk, you know. Guess you aren't a very knowledgable drunk" She had to be cruel to the girl. Being weak wasn't Sayuki's forte. Fueng Wu never saw her weak. And she wasn't going to let her see now.

"I'm ... sorry. Its all my fault..." Said Fueng Wu.

"Do you remember when we first met? Do you?" She nodded her head off to Fueng Wu's direction. Fueng Wu, nodded her head.

"As if it were yesterday".... She closed her eyes.

Sayuki just sat there, and looked at her.

It was a warm, summer day. The flowers were beginning to bloom, and the sun was unbearably bright. She was dressed in a black corset, and knee high boots. Her fishnets were torn, and she had what looked like a note book in her lap.
