Chapter 1: a cold awakening

Chance emerges from the ice caverns on the planet Mortoseth. he has been training non stop for the past 3 years with little to eat and hardly any sleep but it has paid off. he is finally ready to break out of this hell where he and his family, as well as other families are being held simply because they have darker skin and their tails are black. however being trapped in a world of ice does have its advantages. His strength is higher then his other stats simply because he had to endure a harsh climate and because of his cold icy home his oozaru form has turned white over time.

"My training is complete and i am finally ready to leave this planet. but I don't have a ship nor do i have any money, those worthless spike hair saiyans turned their back on us, even though we too are true saiyans ourselves. i just need to find a way to get anywhere but here."

chance began his journey out of his village and arrived at the nearest saiyan grunt outpost that was designed to keep him there. three grunts noticed his approach

Koma: "Well, well it looks like that ice monkey has lost his way"

Tsuna: "Well then brother let us help him find his way back, and teach him a lesson in wandering this far away from his home"

Una: "ooOOoo, can i help?!?"

Koma: "Una you imbecile! just stay out of the way this time, you almost got us killed the last time we fought along side you"

Una: "Una wont get in the way i promise, Una will beat this little boy look at him he is no match for the great Una."

As Chance approached to gate to leave Una jumped down firing off his mouth

Una: "Una will use his flying knee technique on you, ice monkey. Flying kn--"

but before Una could even finish his sentence Chance used his ice punch directly on Unas knee freezing it and shattering it with a solid follow-up punch. all with out even saying a word or batting an eye. Chance then continued to walk with his eyes peering at the brothers guarding the gate.

Koma: "Oh Una, how did i know something like this was gonna happen"

Tsuna: "don't worry about it brother he is strong i can feel his power but he is no match for our double team tactics! AHAHAHAHAaaa..."

the two brothers jump out from the lookout tower and do some little dance then strike a pose

koma/Tsuna: "KOOOMAAA TSUUUNAAAA!!!! you are no match for the double team force of the great Komatsuna!"

Chance: "the great Komatsuna huh? it looks to me like a couple of idiots dancing around... i suggest you stand aside and let me pass or you will end up like your dumb little friend. Una was his name?"

Komatsuna: "you don't know what you are talking about, we cant be beat! after all, two heads are better then one and four fists are stringer than two.--Komatsuna quadruple ki blast!!--"

as the brothers dim put their hands together they fired off 4 ki blasts straight at Chance but he deflected them with ease right into the lookout post.

Chance: "like i said you'd better stand down and let me through, unless of course you want to try another move on me. ill even let you get another free shot."

Komatsuna: "What?! how dare you. we are the greatest fighting duo of brothers on this planet--"

Chance: "and just how many fighting brother duos are there on this planet"

Komatsuna: "uh...well... just us-- But we would be strongest even if there was 10 other fighting brother duos. well show you!--"

Tsuna: "Koma"

Koma: "yeah Tsuna?"

Tsuna: "i think it is time we unleash or secret weapon."

Koma: "right!"

Komatsuna: "Komatsuna secret brother attack!!"

at that moment koma grabbed a handful of snow and through right in Chances face which through him off guard just enough for Tsuna to run in and get a solid gut shot.

Chance: "AH, you call that fighting?!?! you worthless saiyans aren't even good enough to be called saiyans at all."

Koma: "good call brother i knew that attack would work."

Tsuna: "thanks brother i gu-- uh! what is he doing now?!?!"

Chance began to focus his ki and charge his power high enough to use his finishing move that he had been working on in the ice caves.

Chance: "eerrraaAAAH!!! BREAK WAVE!!"

Komatsuna: "AAAHHH! what kind of kid are you?!?!? aaaaAAAAAHHHHHH..."

the blast sent out by Chance was more then these two brothers could handle and killed them both instantly leaving broken limbs separated from each other around in the snow and ice.

Una:"...uh... Unas gonna leave now"

Chance: "good boy Una, just run along."

Chance continued walking into the space port in the light side of the planet hoping to find a ship that he could stow away on. anything to leave this planet and really train so that he could comeback and destroy the saiyan empire along with the Saiyan king Horen.[/B][B]

Chapter 2: the unlikely friend

As Chance reached the space port he saw several ships heading out to different planets. so without being seen and with a quick game of spaceship roulette he climbed into one of the ships cargo bays to sit out the flight.

Chance: "its no good but it'll have to suffice for now. i must not be seen by anyone or they will surely kill me."

As the ship began to take off Chance had to brace himself, the ship itself was a rusted junker that barely seemed to be able to fly and he had no seat belt to strap himself in, or even a seat to sit in for that matter. but once in space the ride was smooth.

Then Chance heard a faint noise through the cargo bay door leading into the cabin of the ship

Chance: "what is that, it sounds like a... like a young boy around my age. maybe he can tell me where this ship is headed. hey! hey kid! in here in the cargo bay!"

Gaimo: "huh? oh Hi!! what are you doing in here?!?"

Chance: "Shhh keep your voice down i just want to talk to you. can you tell me where this ship headed?"

Gaimo: "My parents told me to stay away from strangers so you'll have to introduce yourself first."

Chance: "uh!... my name is chance and i am a saiyan"

Gaimo: "well duh your a saiyan, we all are saiyans on this flight. My name is Gaimo nice to meet you"

Chance: "nice to meet you too Gaimo. now can you tell me where this ship is headed?"


Gaimo: "well... I don't exactly know my parents wouldn't tell me--"

Chance:" --What you made me introduce myself just so you could tell that you dont know?!?!"

Gaimo: "No silly i made you introduce yourself so that we could be friends. "

Chance: "oh brother..."

Gaimo: "Say Chance? why is your tail black and fluffy like that? mine is brown and normal"

Chance: "what do you mean NORMAL?!? are you saying im some sort of freak. some sort of outcast--"

Gaimo: "--no way dude! im just wondering."

Chance: "well if you must know it is because even though im a saiyan i obviously don't look like you. and because i don't look like you, YOUR king Horen banished my kind of saiyan to the dark side of Martoseth, which if you didn't know is a very cold and icy place. so at first my tail became BUSHIER in order to keep warmer, but the cold was too much and eventually my tail caught frost bite. i can move it but i cant feel it at all."

Gaimo: "what do you mean you don't look like me? you look like a saiyan."

Chance: "Gaimo if only everyone thought the way you do. then i wouldn't be hiding in a cargo bay on ship headed to god knows where."

after several hours of joking with each other the ship landed, and while in the midst of laughter Gaimo and Chance walked off the plane together. right in front of Gaimos parents.

gmom: "Son! what are you doing get away from that monster!!"

gdad: "Gaimo what are you doing why have you betrayed your people by helping this other saiyan leave his prison?"

Gaimo: "its no big de--"

gdad: "--I dont want to hear it Gaimo what you have done is high treason which is punishable by death. and saiyans follow all their laws even when they aren't on their own planets. im sorry son but i have to do this. maybe if you were a true warrior you wouldnt have made me do this "

Gaimo: "Dad, no!! Mom, do something!!"

gmom: "i wish i could Gaimo but your father is right. you shouldn't have spoken to this beast of a saiyan. you should have followed the laws!!"

at that moment Gaimos father shot off a laser out of his hand right into Gaimos forehead

Chance: "Gaimo no!!! What have you done?!?! you killed your own son for being a good person! AAAHHH --BREAK WAVE--!"

in a fit of rage and sorrow Chance killed Gaimos parents for killing Gaimo, the only saiyan to accept him for who he was. but unfortunately it could not have been at a worse time. the police of this planet saw what happened and seized Chance for committing murder.

Chance: "let me go! they killed my friend!"

Chance tried to fight but he was not strong enough to fend off these antenna having green aliens. they knocked him out and the next thing he knew he was in a cell in prison.

Guard: "wake up you murderer, welcome to planet Namek."

Chance: "so this is planet Namek, never heard of it."

Guard: 'well you'd better get used to it because you are going to be here for a while."

Chapter 3: Master Tatami

It has been several days since Chance was incarcerated by the Namekia police. we catch up with our protagonist as he begins to settle in.

The morning guards walked around each cell waking all the prisoners. Screaming out

"Wake up you animals!"

breaking out would have been easy but instead of some cheap bar system, each cell was equipped with state of the art force field barriers that held each prisoner inside, the only time they were lifted was for going to the mess hall. even the slightest touch of these force field barriers was enough to fry someone, and Chance knew this by the stench and screams of people who tried to simply bust through it as fast as they could.

"Alright, its about time for the mess hall siren. everyone to the back of your cell!" yelled the head guard, a Namekian named Captain Horagai. "You know the drill when your cells are opened you will walk to the mess holding your hands palms flat against each other, we don't want anyone setting off any ki blasts in here." said with a smirk and a chuckle.

Chance could feel that he was strong, strong enough to take out most of the prisoners with ease. Captain Horagai also sensed Chances power and knew that he was the strongest prisoner in the jail, of course that wasn't saying much considering most of the prisoners were cowardly thieves and pick-pockets, no one for ant big crime, at least not like Chance.

"Alright, open'er up!"

As the cells opened all the prisoners began to exit their cells in a orderly manner while muttering countless offenses under their breath to the guards.

"I can sense all the prisoners power nobody here has strength to kill even the weakest saiyan. so why are we holding our hands to prevent ki blasts, most of these guys probably have never even heard of ki blasts, or ki itself for that matter." Chance thought to himself.

"It must be me. i can sense Horagai and i know he can sense me."

As the prisoners walked toward the mess hall they had to pass under this large awning where captain Horagai was standing and watching the prisoners but most of the time his eyes were fixed on Chance, as if to challenge him to make a single move. But Chance kept his hands clasped together as to not draw attention for what he was about to do.

As he walked under the awning Chance began to focus his ki. all the prisoners began to move away from him, after all they had never seen anything like this before.

"Laser Tail!" chance yelled as his tail pointed up sending a ki laser out the tip of it, right under where Captain Horagai was standing.

The prisoners began to riot and run for their lives as the rest of the guards hustled to round them up. but Chance waited standing at the rubble that once was Horagais vantage point. he waited because he knew that Horagai wasn't dead, he couldn't feel his life force anymore but he knew it was because Horagai was suppressing it somehow. just then the rubble of metal and rock began to shift and rumble, as the hand to Captain Horagai arose out. But it was a trick because as soon as his hand seemingly weak arose from the ground a quick ki blast was shot out that landed right on Chances chest shooting him across the floor.

"I have been waiting for a prisoner like you to come along, said the Namekian. but i am surprised that it is only a teenage boy."

'Ill show what this teenager can do!" Chance shot back angrily.

"Please Saiyan, you wont win, you are too angry, you probably cant control yourself very well. but if you want to fight with someone like me then so be it maybe this will be the kind of correction you need in life. now what do you say? no more cheap shots lets settle this with nothing but our punches and kicks.'

"Whatever you want Namekian." smirked chance.

He rushed in, running as fast as he could yelling out, "If it is a fist fight you want then so be it..aaaAAAHHHH! Frost Punch!'

Captain Horagai was well trained however and was able to dodge the attack from landing any fatal punches. however side stepping a rushing Saiyan is not easy and Chance was able to make contact with Horagais right antenna. Horagai touched it in disbelief causing it to fall off.

"AH!, You cheap little Saiyan, what is wrong with you. don't you know how to fight honorably, like a real Saiyan would!?"

'Don't you ever call me anything less then a real saiyan." chance calmly said to the Captain.

"Well act like a real saiyan!" yelled the Captain as he delivered several devastating punches to Chances head and body. he then kneed Chance in the stomach followed by a hammer fist to his back.

"How do you like that Saiyan?!? too much to handle?"

Captain Horagai then grabbed him by his frost bitten tail and swung the young warrior around and around into the nearest wall, causing a very large boom and the collapse of the wall itself. followed by a swift series of ki blasts from the Captain that shot directly into Chances face leaving three deep cuts over his right eye, almost in the pattern of a scratch

Captain Horagai stood over the young Saiyan with his hand raised preparing for his finishing move. "Your anger makes it impossible to beat me. If I wasn't going to kill you i would tell you that you need to separate your emotions from battle, they only cloud your judgment and weaken your attacks. but like i said now im going to kill you. Triple Bea--"

"--Horagai wait!' a strange Namekian entered walking with his hands behind his back.

"I want you to let the boy live."

"But master?!?" shrieked the Captain

"No buts. i want to teach this boy a few things." the Namekian replied sternly.

"Ma...Master?" said chance trying to find the strength to move.

"yes Chance i have been watching you," said the master. "I could feel you coming to our planet and when you got here your ki power spiked to an immense level so i had to come find you. My name is Master Tatami," he continued, "and i want to train you."

Chance breathing heavily and bleeding all over himself asked, "Can... can you make me stronger. can you make me stronger then the captain?"

"My boy you are already stronger then the captain, you just dont know how to use your energy. i will teach you the discipline it takes to learn but it will take time. time that you will have to commit 100% to. can you do that Chance?"

Chance replied with a weak but firm, "...Yes..."

So Chance went with Master Tatami into to canyons of the planet Namek where he vowed to train until he was until Tatami said he was done.

Chapter 4; Kagura

Chance agreed to train under Master Tatami and thus followed him into the uncharted territories of the planet Namek where Tatami lived and trained his pupils. It was a treacherous path over rocks and down embankments.

"How much father is your house Master?" asked Chance, with irritation.

"Patience Chance, we will get there when we get there and complaining about it wont get us there any faster. I was right about you, you need some intense training in discipline, but fear not young mustang I will break you." Tatami chuckled

"I was just wonder you crazy old man jeez" Chance mumbled to himself. He didn't realize, however, that Tatamis Namekian ears had great hearing and that they twitched as soon as he began to whisper under his breath.

"I Heard that", yelled out in anger, "how dare you call me such a name I am your master and you will respect my every word!" With Chance in complete disbelief and shock Tatami instantly calmed down and continued on the path for his home."Now lets go Chance, we don't have all day we must hurry."

They arrived at Tatamis home which was this little hut in the middle of nowhere. To the north was a large lake and to the east was a mountain. They entered the home which was a large one room space that smelled a little like mint leaves. in the corner was a young Namekian.

"Chance i have someone i want you to meet" Tatami said, This is Kagura he will be training with you."

"Hi, i would say its nice to meet you but i was hoping to train by myself. I hate to say it but you might get in my way." Chance smirked.

"don't be so certain Saiyan I have powers that you might find useful and I am not as weak as you think, also if you wouldn't mind do you think you could stop trying to read my energy levels." Kagura Shot back

As the two boys stared each other down you could feel their energies battling in their minds. it seemed as though Chance had discovered a new potential friend. or maybe a new enemy.
