The Valley, Requested by Silver

Katt sat up senceing her son's discomfort, she sctulle dinto his room, "Jake..jake, what's wrong?"

"I'm fine, it's just," He said, he paused for a moment, figuring what to say. "A bad dream. I'm alright." Hopefully He realized he was still panting heavily and sweating from the dream. He sighed heavily. "No, it isn't alright. I dreamed that my father..." He bit his lip, trying to held back the tears. Why is it so painful to bring it up, Jake thought.

"Died?" Roger said, raising an eyebrow. "Wait... it can't be a dream since he's like, dead from where you come from. So it's basically you're reliving the memory, like a Nightmare." He realized a tear rolled down Jake's right cheek, he begin crying. "Oh... wait, Roger didn't meant to say that! Um... you can't change what's unchangiable, right?" He realized he was getting no where. "Um... Tragic Horrifying events often come back to haunt you. Um... Roger... go bye-bye now." He said as he slowly walked out of the room. "STUPID HEAD!" Roger punched himself in the head, knocking the idiot against a wall. "Why must Roger always hurts people's feelings? Big dummy! You forgot to keep your big mouth shut!" He said, speaking to himself.

Jake turned to Katt as the half-pint (Roger) walked downstairs. "Every night, I keep seeing that dream, reliving it the entire thing." He felt more tears swelling. "Ever since that awful day, I'd been in emotion wreck." He sighed heavily. "I wish I can change it but... I can't, it was because of my father's death that I became a Hero. Seeing him alive in the past, it feels like he rise from the grave and never died. But... I should known better."

"Dummy, loser, half-wit, brain damaged fool!" Roger muttered to himself as he walked down the stairs, he kept calling himself names as he walked over to a nearby chair and implanted himself on it. Everyone stared at him for a moment. "Don't look at Roger, Roger big fat ugly dunce!" He said, folding his arms. Everyone continued their conversations.

Suzie and Daniel continued their conversation. "How was summer camp?" Daniel asked her. " "Met someone?" He knew Suzie was going to become a Counselor at Dark Night's camp, he was once a counselor, thanks to R2 he used a device that grant him a form of a human, he remembered the late night wild parties they used to have. Although it was nearly two years ago, it felt like centuries.

"No." She shook her head. "I made several great friends though. You know..." She said as she looked at her friend's tail, her eyes were locked on it as it swiped dust. "If I could be any race... I would choose Arizon-jin. I would love being what you are, having smooth fur, good hearing, sensing, reflexes, agility and a cute adorable face."

"I won't mind becoming a human at all, either. Your people are more motivated than mine and very creative."

She laughed. "Maybe we should both change races." They both laughed.

"I know Jacob...I know, my father died before I remembered him and my mother died when I was still young. For a while I thought I'd never get over them, but I learned how to remeber the good times with mom." Katt began getting misty eyed," Then times she made me smile, made me laugh, tucked me into bed, even the times she get worried and scold me." Katt said with a slight smile, "Do you understand?"

She's right... He thought. "Yes, I think I understand it. Just because the people we loved and care are dead, doesn't mean they'll gone forever. They will never truly be extinguished, for they, shall remain forever in our hearts and memories that way... they'll never die and always will live and the will of Fire will continue to burn. The bond between families and friends are very important, we trust and help each other. As time passes by, the stings that binds them becomes thicker and stronger. Even when someone passes over, their memories, legacies, and everything they stood for will last forever and they'll always be apart of us for that remarkable Fire within us will never burn out, that makes us so important." He smiled at her, the pain within his eyes within him was nearly gone, it was still there but hardly noticeable. "Thank you so much for telling me this. Now I feel much better, I know he didn't died in vain. He would wanted what's best for us. He'll always be in my heart, he'll be with me in spirit and always will watch me from above." I wonder why my Negative Counterpart never truly realized that...

She kissed his forehead lightly, "Now go to sleep Jacob, I'll see you in the morning."

Jake nodded as he went back to bed, his ears twitched as he heard a small tap. He glanced over his shoulder.

"Children can be such a handful, eh?" Said a voice. What appears to be a Manx humanoid wearing a red shirt, black jeans and red gloves was standing against a wall, he was talking to Katt. "No need to fear, my name is Manx as my appearance gives it. I'm one of Cat's henchmen, the rookie of the team." He was holding a letter in his right hand. Beside him was Venom, a Snake Humanoid.

"Must you always talk?" He spat. "Just hurry it up, we don't have all day." He turned to Katt. "We are not here to cause troubles if we did, Cobra will have our necks." He folded his arms. "We tried to arrive earlier but this feline moron didn't ask for directions, finding your house took all day. We are the Cobra Fangs, apparently we were sent to hand you this letter. Don't worry..." He slide his fangs into his gums. "We don't bite." Jake blinked his eyes, he remembered seeing this guys somewhere, he didn't remember clearly but they were extremely loyal to his family, they acted as loyal bodyguards until... they went to somekind of war and never were seen again. Weren't there three others? Jake then remember the party that was going on downstairs, he sighed heavily.

Jake quickly put p a pair of old-ragged jeans a white T-Shirt of Mickey Mouse on it, he turned to Katt. "Don't worry Mom, these are Grandfather's, Cat's, henchmen. They completely harmless, they'll probably here to ask you something. They'll not entirely evil." He looked past his shoulder. "I'm going to the party, I know it'll make Dad happier if I go." He yawned sleepily. "After this night, I'm going to sleep all day tomorrow." He smiled at her. "See you in the morning." He headed out of the door.

Manx blinked several times. "Party!? He mentioned a party and we weren't invited!?" He was about to head to the door when Venom clasped a hand on his shoulder.

"You are going no where, now give her the letter and explain it to her." Venom said coldly. "I hate rookies." Manx muttered something under his breath.

OOC: The Cobra Fangs, Cat's elite trained Bodyguards. They act perfectly loyal to Cat and his family but they can become a deadly threat to the Saiyans, they'll here to act as Bodyguards. Despite sometimes they act naive and dimwitted and love television (Especially Soap Operas) they are extremely talented in Martial Arts.

Daniel saw his son joining. "I thought you and your mother were heading to bed."

"Can't resist the party, besides," He yawned sleepily. "I didn't intent much parties nor have I had much friends at my age." He saw Daniel nodding.

"Okay, but you can go back to bed anytime you like." He turned to say hi to his other friends. They were mostly talking all at once. Some of them sparwled on the cream-color carpet, sat on the long, cushiony couch. On one end of the couch, Roger was talking to Monica, gesturing widlyl with his hands as usual. He was telling her about a horror conventon his brother taken him for halloween, she listened to him but she seemed very bored. Jacob was now sitting on a chair, he seemed very amused as he was playing a toy mouse. Chris lowered his mountain dew can as he'd been chugging from. "Hey Dan, I'm now a lifeguard. Check out this tan?"

"A lifeguard? For real? Where?"

"Jersey shores, my mother has a house there."

"Did you rescue anyone?" Asked Roger.

Chris's eyes flashed. "Well no, but I had to give a Mouth-to-Mouth a few times." Everyone laughed minus Jake and Roger, a moment later Chris was flexing his biceps. "Check out this new bod. I think I want to live forever! Imagine all the girls I would have!" Monica slid next to him on the couch arm. "You're bad." She said, she tugged playfully on the tiny silver loop in his ear. Suzie looked extremely jealous, did her sister had to get every guy? They were both laughing about something. Monica had her arm loosely draped around his shoulder.

"You two boys don't seem bad, but this is the dead of night...come back in the morning, will you?" KAtt yawned cutely.

Manx sweat-dropped. He glanced at his wrist watched. His eyes widened. "She's right, I didn't know how late it was."

Venom glanced at Manx. "It's probably best if we waited until morning anyways as planned. General Cobra ordered has to wait for him and the others, it is getting late." He turned to Katt. "We'll see you tomorrow." He flew out of of the window, Manx muttered something underneath his breath.

"First I miss the Invasion plan, second the War speech and now I'll have to wait tomorrow?" He growled angrily then shrugged his shoulders. "Oh well, I gies it's what I'll get." He took took lead however the window frame was slammed shut onto his face. He screehed painful, he cursed as he held his busted nose, he then opened the window and flew off.

Patrick sat on the floor at the other end of the couch, his long legs crossed in front of him. He was talking into a cell phone. When he turned off his phone, Daniel made his way over to him. "So did you and Chris had summer basketball practice?"

He scratched his hair. "Didn't you hear? The coach called off summer practice. He's still messed up about his wife."

"Oh, right." Daniel nodded, he remember before his time at High School ended, the coach's wife died sudden;y near the end of the school year. She wasn't that old, only thirty-seven, old as the coach. The coach took a leave from school. Daniel remembered the rumors about him. That he sipped into insanity, the neighbors hear him talking loudly to himself late at night. He lost all interest in coaching the team. He was once filled with life, fire in his eyes, now that was gone.

"Nice boys..." KAtt said in a sleepy haze, oviously not hearing anything about world domination.

Roger walked back upstairs, he sighed as he sat on the floor against the wall. "Roger hates being picked on." He looked at his watch. "TURKEY TIME!" He randomly took out a turkey suit and put it on. "Moo Moo!" He smiled.

OOC:(extremly late message) I want to thank you for that to Jack even though you might not read this. I kind of forgot that it was your listing there that brought me here. dragonball legends (I still have e-mails and links to that place in my msn's memory. I really need to get rid of those one of these days. ) might not have picked up but this place sure did for a while bringing me lots of enjoyment.
