Welcome to Dracanis

Before you is an RP once thought so powerful it had to be stopped...and then it was...and that's the story

But then we figured Hey, it's not over' and so we made this place from the ashes 6 servers after the mighty original. The old one still stands as a memory or what a stupid error can lead to when it comes to the wrong hands...Or the right ones.

This leads onto the storyline. Dracanis is a Final Fantasy based Roleplaying forum with Forums, RP and even its own fighting system that is more in depth than anything I have ever seen. And they only payed me enough to partially influence my saying of that...IT'S THAT GOOD

Now all new memberes are welcome as well as any old. Just follow the basic rules of common sense and you'll fit in fine because here at Drac we ban evil admins...and then replace them with ones too lazy to yell. If you're teetering on whether to join or not just have a talk in the forum for guests with our members and use that to make your choice all the more easier. 	Midgar After the fall of Meteor, Midgar is nothing but a sad ruin, completely uninhabitable despite attempts to rebuild. The Mako leaks created by the 8 Reactors that once kept the city running now make living in the ruins impossible. It now stands as a crumbling monument to its own former glory and to the folly of man's abuse of the Planet, as well as a tribute to the sacrifices made to save the Planet two years before. Most of the citizens have moved to the areas directly around the former capital, constructing a new city called Edge. The city of Edge is built around the ruins of Midgar, and the citizens of the ruined city have largely recovered from the crisis. However, Cloud has not, and leaves Tifa to live in the Sector 5 Church, suffering from Geostigma in solitude. Tifa and Marlene come to investigate Cloud's whereabouts and find that he has been living here. Midgar is the capital city of Gaia. It is the most technologically advanced location ever constructed on The Planet. Built by the Shinra Electric Power Company, it is home to the corporation's main headquarters, which dominates the city skyline. Thanks to its eight Mako Reactors, the city's massive power demands are easily met, but at a cost: the surrounding countryside has become a wasteland of perpetual night, lacking any vegetation.	3	34	Jul 25 2007, 03:00 AM In: Back To His Roots... 	Kalm Kalm is a village located just outside of Midgar. Unlike the massive bustling metropolis nearby, Kalm is relatively calm and often a good holiday spot for those who need to get away from the city life for a while. It has only a few shops, a pub, and an inn. Its size and population seems to have swelled considerably since the fall of Meteor. The economy is based mostly upon mining in the Mythril Mines, but due to activities of Midgar Zoloms outside of the mine's entrance, work is at a stand still. 	Healin Lodge The Healin Lodge is a health facility located somewhere in the chain of mountains near Edge, it is a peaceful place set amongst trees and waterfalls. Shinra initially built the facility three years ago to care for those afflicted with Geostigma, but now lodges those who sustain serious injuries and illnesses. Doctors and nurses employed by Shinra, Inc. visit the Healin Lodge daily at the base of the Mountain path there is a underground railway station for a rapid transit system, used to travel back and forth from Edge. 	Edge A city neighboring Midgar, built when most of Midgar was destroyed by Meteor initially by residents wishing to rebuild their homes. - Meteor Monument: A monument was constructed in the middle of Edge to commemorate what happened to the original city. A monument, called the Meteor Monument, was constructed by Shinra to commemorate the destruction of Midgar and pay an homage to the victims. 	Modeoheim Modeoheim is located slightly to the south of the Icicle Inn. It was built when Shinra scientists and engineers gathered to the Modeo ravine when the site was a candidate for mako excavation, but due to the harshness of the environment the plans for a mako reactor were canned, and the village was deserted. 	Dracanis Garden: Ground Floor The Ground and Main Floor of Dracanis Garden, the Garden that was a war ground for a huge battle and then got damaged too much to be used as a Garden anymore. 	Dracanis Garden: U1 Floor The First Floor is currently accessible through the lift and a rope leading into the summoning classroom. It is home to lots of different monsters but is generally safe because the monsters are not as strong as those inside of the training area. This floor is a no entrance area for anyone who isn't already aloud on the ground floor. 	Dracanis Garden: U2 This Floor of the Garden is full of broken machinery. It is a highly dangerous zone which only those really prepared can go into due to the toxic fumes that still lie inside of it. 	Dracanis Garden: U3 This Floor of the Garden sestained major damage. The Top Floor has a huge battle inside of it which made all of the machinery break. This area is also very badly damage structuraly so if anyone was to enter it could fall down at any time. This Floor is in the worst condition. 	Sephiseifer Castle Sephiseifer Castle is a Castle that is suspended in the air, underneath it is a small flow of black lifestream that was summoned until the right time when it was to be used.
