Delta had taken forceful action once more, automatically getting a few days off of her job. She had taken her street bike, something like a Yamaha dirt bike, painted in all black, and traveled to Kalm. She took a few changes of clothes for herself, and of course her weapons. The traveling was uneventful, and she was thankful for that. Midgar was growing to be a pain in the ass for her. Shinra wanted her to do this, do that, and she was quite frankly sick of it.
She'd checked into the small Inn, her appearance actually less frightening than normal, and she didn't seem to get the glares that she usually did. Perhaps it was that she'd dyed her hair temporarily a light brown, and was wearing a pair of pants with a navy blue corset. Her eyes of course, she'd gotten a hold of another contact to match her right eye, but it didn't help that her left eye often wandered in the opposite direction of her right. Oh well. Delta had went to the bar in Kalm, where she had to admit, she was having an enjoyable time. She was only drinking a very light liquor, but was listening to stories the bartender was telling, and laughing. It was an odd feeling to be felt so accepted by a complete stranger, that didn't even know what she did for a living. The Turk had been about to leave, when she saw a familiar face pop into the bar. She grinned slightly, staying where she was, as she suddenly changed her mind. "Long time no see perhaps?" |

He'd headed back home after the events in Costa del Sol, and right now Siro felt like what he needed most was to be somewhere that he belonged. After all, he didn't think he could go back to Dracanis Garden after the huge battle that was there had left much of it in pretty bad shape (except for a good part of the dormitories that his room happened to be in) and neither Lionel or Mia really felt like seeing if the Garden was still occupied at all.
This wasn't all when it came to his reasons for stopping in at his hometown. Siro had decided that he owed Terri a "visit" so to speak, and he wanted to catch up and see what some of his old friends were doing. Kalm wasn't exactly a large city, so naturally the bar was the most likely place that people would be. As Siro, Lionel, and Mia walked into the tavern, they heard a familiar voice. "Long time no see, perhaps?" Siro whipped his head around and saw the woman from Costa del Sol in the bar motioning at him. He briefly wondered if she'd followed him, but quickly brushed it aside and answered her. "Yeah, it's been a while, what brings you here?" |

"Yeah, it's been a while, what brings you here?" Delta shrugged slightly, a grin on her face. "Oh you know, the usual, forcing more vacation time on the company." Perhaps it was odd that only a few days ago she'd seen him at Costa del Sol, and now she saw him in Kalm, one of the most peaceful cities in Advent. She ordered another light drink, definitely staying away from the hardcore drinks for the time being. She wasn't in the mood to trust anyone.
She twirled about on the bar stool for a moment, looking back to Siro. "I'm hoping it's just coincidence that I see you here after seeing you at Costa del Sol. But in any case, sit, we'll finish that drink." She did feel a bit bad for leaving everyone hanging back at the coast, but she'd very well needed to get out of that place. After a few days of never ending sun and guys oogling girls in bikinis, she had felt sick of the sand. Delta had no idea that Siro was from here, but she'd never asked, so she felt slightly useless for that. The most interaction she had with them was commending Siro for not staring at her ass for lengths on end, which she was still glad for. Perhaps there was sanity out in this big insane world. She yawned slightly, tucking back a piece of hair that had managed to get in her way. Delta had to admit, it was a different feeling, being accepted by so many people. She was glanced at only occasionally, due to her eyes and the brilliant hue they were, but she hoped that was the only reason. She'd made sure she looked relatively normal that day. "So how should we kick off the conversation today, so perhaps we can at least get each other's names." Conversing had been quite tumultuous the previous day, seeing as how every time she went to talk to him, something went wrong. And it was beginning to bother her that she didn't know his name and she'd kept running into him. |

Siro smiled a little bit and nodded. It was getting kind of weird for them to keep saying things like 'hey you', or 'you over there' just because they didn't know each other's names. Besides, Mia and Lionel probably wanted to know who she was too. "My name's Siro," he said, pointing his thumb at himself. "and those two are Lionel," Lionel responded with a nice and simple "Yo." as Siro talked. "and Mia."
Mia bowed jokingly letting out a smile. "Nice to meet you." This just happened to prompt Lionel to taunt her a little bit. "What are you, running for office?" Of course, she just stuck her tongue out at him, and he reached his hand for it in some far from serious attempt to pluck the stud right out of it. Mia wasn't at all amused as she whipped out a metal tonfa and stopped it a mere few inches from his nether-regions as a way of saying 'oh no you don't', which naturally stopped him in his tracks as Siro kind of looked down and scratched the back of his neck nervously. "Like I said," he told the woman in front of him reassuringly "they're pretty much harmless. At least, around people they are." |

Siro had been the one she'd been talking to most, Lionel had stared at her ass, and Mia shared one of the same piercings as herself. She nodded to each of them as Siro introduced them. She grinned slightly when Lionel taunted her for bowing. The girl stuck out her tongue, and she saw the stud which immediately prompted her to run the small door knocker jewelry she'd placed in it recently along the roof of her mouth.
"It's nice meeting all of you. I'm Delta." She left her last name out, seeing as how a few more people had walked in the bar at the moment, and what could she say...She was slightly paranoid about being recognized for working at Shinra. But she looked slightly less frightening than usual, other than her eye giving off the blunt hint that she'd been infected with Mako. She spun once more on the stool before patting the bar beside her so they would sit. "Sit, so I don't feel like a bad hostess." Delta took a drink from her liquor, soon speaking once more to Siro. "Now. How did you feel about what happened at Costa del Sol?" The Turk was curious how he felt about it, seeing as how a beach had been pretty well mauled between Ethycs and Sephiren. Delta had been slightly bothered by it, seeing as how it was a public location, and it'd been her vacation. She got over it quickly though. His comment had only now caught her, about them being harmless around people. She laughed slightly. "Like I said...they're pretty much harmless. At least, around people they are." She nodded again, still grinning. "I suppose it's good they're harmless. There's far too many of us out in the world that are harmful..." Delta was shocked at her sudden bitter comment, mostly aimed at herself, but she shrugged it off as if it'd never happened. |

After Delta finished, he nodded in agreement. Siro motioned to his friends and they sat down. Despite Kalm being his hometown, he'd never actually been in this bar that often, but hey, there was no harm in stopping in. It wasn't a big deal, but Siro noticed that Delta looked a bit different than she did at Costa del Sol, which was probably due to her looking a lot more laid back and casual than she had there.
"Don't worry about being a bad hostess," he told her "after all, I'm kind of the one who's hosting you here. I've gotta admit though, seeing people argue when a gun's involved isn't something that's going to scare me really, but I don't really like what happened in Costa del Sol because it was in such a public place and some innocent person could've been hit by a stray bullet." He scratched his arm uncomfortably, as the idea of a small child being killed by gunfire at the beach wasn't exactly a pleasant one. Afterwards, Siro turned to his friends, wondering what their takes were on it. "Hey Linny, what do you and Em think about it?" Lionel glared at his friend before he responded. "How many times do I have to tell you to NEVER call me Linny? And yeah, that whole thing happening on the beach was a bit weird. It's probably for the best that the cops didn't show up." Mia was silent and 'mhm'ed since she didn't really have anything to say that hadn't already been said. "So..." Siro started "that was pretty gutsy of you to step in there between those two back there. They weren't exactly small guys, even though you could've probably taken them." As he finished, he gave her a slight wink. |

Delta listened on to him, her opinion more or less supported by wha he said. She nodded, her hand gripping the bottle of liquor she'd been so kindly given by the bartender. At least this time around, she hadn't had to threaten anyone. She rose her eyebrows as Siro called Lionel, Linny. Of course, she didn't figure that he'd like that, and it was proven true. Yeah, that's pretty much how I feel..." She rubbed her forehead slightly, her eyes going back to him as he commented once more.
"So...that was pretty gutsy of you to step in there between those two back there. They weren't exactly small guys, even though you could've probably taken them." He winked, making her grin slightly. She shrugged, sitting up right so she could stretch slightly. "Thanks...I'm pretty well used to doing some pretty stupid things to get my point across." Her mouth opened once more to tell that story about being in the Shinra headquarters and nearly shooting herself to get out, but she thought better. That story hadn't ended well anyways. She grinned slightly again, but laughed this time. "I know I couldn't have taken the silver haired one. That would be the very last thing I ever tried." Delta figured he probably didn't know them by name, so she just went by characteristics. She shook her head. "I give my brother a run for his money. Oh, you should see him, he was in SOLDIER, infected with Mako like I was, but uhh, he quit SOLDIER. And so we're not on good terms, and we get into physical altercations quite frequently. He always ends up running away..." Delta shivered slightly, bare arms cold in the bar for some reason. She rubbed them to warm them up, before looking back to Siro. "So you said you're the host. I'm assuming you're from here?" |

Siro nodded when Delta asked him if this was where he was from. He'd only been living here his whole life (well, except for when he was at the Garden, obviously), so it wasn't like this place was unknown to him. "Yeah, this is my hometown. It's a good place really, it's got that nice small town feel and it's not very far to Midgar either. Mind you, Mia and Lionel aren't from around here, nobody knows what town those two are from."
As you'd expect, Lionel raised his eyebrows and gave a bit of a glare, Mia laughed, and this caused Siro to grin a bit before he continued. "It may be a good place to live, but there's still some of the scorched buildings around from a few years ago..." he began to trail off and bowed his head as the memories came back before he caught himself and carried on "I'm sorry to hear about your brother. I've heard rumours that the stuff that goes on in SOLDIER sometimes has psychiological effects on people. I hope you and your brother can work things out eventually." |

Delta nodded about his hometown. She could sense the small town feeling, and it was much more enjoyable than the vibes Midgar gave off. She was silent as he spoke of the scorched buildings, knowing fully well what they were from. He then went on to apologizing about her brother. She shook her head. She knew too well what SOLDIER did to a person, and it was true...But working things out would never happened.
"Thanks...we're both too far gone though. The mako poisoning and other things made us both stray too far from what we really were..." She took a drink of her liquor, her eyes glazed over in thought as she tried to remember her childhood. Tried, but was unsuccessful. She shrugged slightly, a bright look on her face. "But, I suppose there's going to be a time where we both get what we're deserving of." "Now, enough of those sad topics, I am on another forcefully negotiated vacation." She was having issues with what they could do...Honestly, nothing was coming to Delta's mind. She'd been so obsessed with getting her missions over with, that she nearly forgot how to have fun. Nearly. She had forgot how to have fun. Going to the beach had been a failed attempt at relaxation. Maybe here she would have a better chance. She looked at Siro, a mischievous look on her face. "So what do you do in Kalm for fun? I finally get out of the grind house that's Shinra, and I hardly remember how to have fun at all." Of course, she livened up the men that were in the Turks, as well as SOLDIER, and she knew how to use words to get her way....But that was far from having fun. That was survival. |

(OOC: Sorry if it's a bit short.)
What did they do in Kalm for fun? That question didn't come up that often as most people who came to Kalm either came because it was very much a sports town these days, and a lot of people passing by had heard about the recently built casino and had come to test their luck. Siro shrugged and started to think before he spoke. "Well aside from seeing the bars we've got, they just built a casino a few months ago. And even though Kalm's got what, just under 100,000 people I think, and yeah, I know it's weird how we've got a small town feel with that many people, we've always been really into sports. We've got stadiums for soccer, basketball, baseball, hockey, even some football for the weird people that like it. Obviously we've got malls and stuff, but that's about it unless you're into boxing. Sorry if there's nothing that's all that appealing." |

Delta nodded. A casino sounded interesting. Sort of like...the Golden Saucer, but smaller scale, perhaps? But at least it was smaller than Midgar. She nodded to Siro as he finished speaking, "Sorry if there's nothing that's all that appealing." Delta shook her head, nearly laughing. "It's the complete opposite. Kalm is a paradise for me." She took a drink from her glass, setting it back down on the bar quietly.
"I've had to live in Midgar all my life...And deal with Shinra a good majority of that time, it really sucks." She shrugged slightly. "It's nice having a change of pace." She was silent for a few moments, just staring blankly at a spot across from her. Her eyebrows furrowed slightly, her thoughts pooling. She didn't know how to tactfully ask this. "So...what do you and your friends do for a living?" It was blunt, something Delta was good at. But this was something she had wanted to be sly about, just curious as to why she kept seeing them, and how they seemed to be rather skilled with weapons and the sort. They already knew what she did, so what did it matter if she knew what they did? Delta shifted in her seat a tad, and stretched her back out. She'd only gotten to Kalm that day, and it was amazing how tired she already was. (short, sorry, i'm getting back into the groove as you said. : P) |

Siro glances at his friends and shrugged. After all, what was the real harm in letting Delta know what it was that they did? It wasn't like they'd been doing anything illegal or wrong, so there wasn't REALLY any reason why he should've hid things from her, at least right now.
"I used to work in a gun store in town that my friend's dad owns, but that was a couple of years ago. The three of us are, well...WERE I guess I should say after everything that went down lately, students at Dracanis Garden. However, there was a big war there lately and a lot of it was wrecked. Nobody's even sure if it's being run anymore. Also, on a more personal note, I'm....almost hunting you could say for something. And let's just say, if you look at those scorched buildings downtown, then you'll have an idea why. But I'm sure you've got more important things than my personal vendettas." He forced a laugh as he tapped his finger on the table, with Mia cocking her eyebrow as a result. |
