The heavy steel doors underneath the subway that Killingsworth led the group through creaked a rusty creak. A long dark hallway came next, followed by the longest spiral staircase one would ever expect to find inside a subway station. Down, down, down, down, always down. For three hours they walked down stair after stair after stair, the walls, originally a tiled, shiny porcelain, soon growing into a dingy, rust-covered grim. At the very bottom, there was a pool of water, knee-deep. Walking into it, towards the rusy wall, Killingsworth frowned.
"Tryin' to block it eh?"
He swung his cross hard, striking the wall. With a cracking thud, part of the wall disintigrated into a cloud of rust, revealing a brick-lined passageway, filled with grimy water. The mad priest pressed forward, sloshing through the obaque liquid.
At long last, they reached a heavy, golden door, encrusted with a effigy of one of Bosch's famous Hell paintings. Killingsworth turned to face the group, his voice surprisingly bored sounding.
"Are we ready?"

(This post inspired by this song: http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/1036/18 (link fixed, click Click Here to listen.) The door opened slowly, a harsh wind blowing a swirl of...leaves... Brown leaves blew past the group, and with a creaking clatter, the sound of more doors in the dark hallway opening could be heard. Killingsworth slowly walked down the hall, resolute, one foot after another, his footsteps echoing around them. Yet, as the hall curved down, a sloping ramp, they could hear something. Soft noises, growing louder. A woman's voice, singing in a strange language. Drums and flutes accompanies the song, the walls soon fading away, and they found themselves no longer walking in a hallway. It was as if they were in outer space. Below them, the enormity of a galaxy swirled lazily, stars and comets swirling around them in a beautiful maelstrome. Yet always, unending, did the Preacher walk, Killingsworth's eyes dead ahead, knowing the way, despite the path being unseen. Such a way was impossible, and many who were slaves to the human logic couldn't understand what was happening, how this was possible. And soon, they found it. Floating in this space, a door, single wooden door. Killingsworth reached into his pocket, pulling forth an old looking brass key. He turned to the group, his eyes dark. "This be it. From eternity and back, we go. Be on your guard, amd take with you the sanctity of your gods." And with that, he unlatched the door, and stepped through into endless light...

Deathtenks and Delritho merly walked at the back of the group alking to each other telapathacly.(sp?)
Delritho will be in bold, while Deathtenks will be underlined, Italics, mean mind speak.
I don't sense anything dangerous....yet, keep on your god, Deathtenks. Don't worry, I can whip out the Frostmourne in the blink of an eye if needed, but still, do you think Lucifer can give us answers that Micheal refused to give us? I doubt it, but it is always worth a try, we will find out why we were made, and why we were made in the forms we are in, I just hope none of the others screw this up because I REALLY don't want to figh my way through a hoard of mindless demons just to have a simple chat. Same here. Anyway lets cut the mind link, we need to stay on guard. Deathtenks over and out.
They both just merly kept on walking, keeping thier minds open just incase was foolish enough to try and attack.

The light faded away and Killingsworth's feet touched hard, rocky ground. Around them it was a hopeless black, the dark, formidable rocks rising about them like spires. As each member of the team appeared in this strange circle of stones, they found the door from which they'd come was gone.
Killingsworth lit a cigarrette and grimaced at the landscape.
"Hasn't changed in the past couple of decades. That's good for us."
He turned to the group, looking over everyone with cold eyes.
"This place is a waypoint, built here by an ancient man by the name of Gaius Julius Caeser. It served him little purpose, but we of heavenly influence have gotten great amounts of use from it."
He tapped on of the stones, and it glowed softly.
"While we cannot leave from this one, as its one way, we can call reinforcements. Cuathemoc, take the other one, Jack, and scout ahead. The Gates are down that tunnel, make sure no demons are hindering us."
He raised his hand, the runes glowing on the dark rocks.
"I'm calling for some backup. An annoyingly rebellious angel, but a useful one for combat. Stand clear, everyone."
With a low hum, the ground began to pulse a glow a bright blue, wavering like water in a pool...
