The next day after the events of "Inviting Strife"

Adracul yawned, stretching her arms, or equivalents thereof. She looked to the bed next to her, briefly staring at the shrivilled corpse of the wolfman she had bedded. She found it funny, that her cunsumation of the soul always occurred at the climax of that passionate ritual of life and death. She sighed, feeling no remorse, and looked into the room where she kept her furnace. Yes, he would make a most delicious meal for lunch and dinner.

She groaned suddenly, fainting to the floor but managing to keep conscious. Holding her bare waist, she looked at it. The werewolf had planted his seed within her. Only a matter of time would pass before the hideous hybrid of fallen angel and werewolf would be born. Adracul had considered abortions before, but she had never had one. Besides, she had given birth to worse monstrosities before, like the multitentacled creature she had spawned shortly after being raped by the vines of a plant demon.

She put on some tough leather clothes and began to stoke her furnace...

Two hours later...

Adracul, in more appropriate clothing, came out into the hall, hoping for breakfast.

Breakfast was...meat. As usual, sausage, bacon...more bacon...and beer.

Adracul grinned. This was always her favorite meal. Meat. She hadn't known anything else for quite sometime, and didn't care. She dove into her meal, devouring all that her eyes saw edible. After revaging through breakfast, she gulped down the beer, all in a single swig, a sight to behold. She slammed her beer jug down, shaking the table as she exhaled with a gasp of breath. She looked for a waitress. "More please."

Adracul had been finding it difficult to concentrate on her gluttony and pay attention to the man next to her when the announcement had been made. She looked up, watching the usual sort of reactions, paying only partial attention as she continued eating, hoping that the ruckus would be enough to distract the man long enough to allow her finish eating, and then allow her to focus upon another potential victim.

Adracul smiled, glad for the opening. She stuffed her mouth full of meat yet again, and finished off what would have fed five men easily. She drank her beer again, and layed back in her chair, relaxing.

From the shadows nearby, and figure watched the scene, scanning the tables.

The man returned, grinning.

"Were you scared?"

"What do I have to fear about an announcement regarding one of our seedier residents vanishing?" she asked, smirking as she crossed her legs suggestively.

He grunted.

"Let's go somewhere...more private..."

"Sure," she replied, grinning. The morning hadn't passed and she already had bagged another victim. She lead the man into her room, closing the door behind her.

What she didn't know was that the shadowy figure had already entered the room ahead of them, and now hid within the other room of her apartment.

"And I will be one woman you'll never forget you bedded," she replied suggestively, slipping her top off and wrapping her arms around the man's neck.

The shadowy figure watched, not out of lust or jealousy, but waiting, waiting for something dreadful to happen.

Adracul moaned with pleasure. Yet another delicious man on the menu...

An hour and a half later...

Adracul exhaled, finishing up her work. She had sucked the man dry, and now he looked like a plague had fallen upon his body, his frame now skeletal and very sickly looking. She looked. No, he wouldn't make a very good meal now, as she had accelerated some form of infection in his body by sucking his spirit from him. She sighed, taking the corpse into her butcher shop...

Later on, she emerged triumphant. She had burned the corpse into ash, and dumped the incriminating evidence into her box of coals, where the ash would be easily mistaken for coal dust. She sighed once again, but decided not to go out. A werewolf at night and a man in the afternoon was enough for her, she didn't need to feed anymore. However, she really wanted to hear about the latest gossip, and after putting on some more modest clothing came out, sitting in a corner where she could hear everything without attracting the attention of any more horny men.

Meanwhile, the other figure also stood in an obscure corner, watching her. Hopefully she wouldn't have any more engagements tonight, allowing him to get to business...
