Random resturant, Amity's Point

Heinrich sat down at his table, the waitress handing him his three menus. He sighed as he looked at what he would order, as he waited for Akira and Iris to arrive...

[Charity]

Charity opened the door to a restaurant in Vander's Mill, Amity's Point and shivered as a cold wind hit her sensitive face. Her long blonde hair waved gracefully as the wind blew but gradually ceased as she walked inside.

She scanned the restaurant, looking for familiar faces. As she was about to give up, she saw Heinrich and two seats that are not taken in his table.

What's Heinrich doing here? She thought to herself. She decided to find out.

She walked over to Heinrich and smiled.

"Hey Heinrich. Mind if I join you?" She asked him, smiling broadly, motioning to a seat beside Heinrich, "Is this seat taken?"

She waited for Heinrich whilst taking hold of the seat beside him.

Heinrich looked up, startled at the appearance of a familiar face from his past.

"Charity...what...what are you doing here? I thought I told you it would be safer to stay away from Vander's Mill? God only knows the kind of influence the Aged Ones wield over this dark corner of the earth."

Charity frowned as she heard Heinrich lecturing her again.

She shook her head and thought, Why does she always lecture me like this? What does he care if I wander around a bit? I'm fully capable of taking care of myself!

Charity shrugged and said a simple, "I decided to wander around in this place for a bit. Come on. Besides, I'm capable of taking care of myself. No need to worry about me Heinrich!"

She smiled innocently and repeated her question again, "Mind if I sit here?"

A sudden throat clearing brought their attention to Akira and Iris, who had entered the small bar and were smirking at the two of them.

Looking at each other mischievously, then back at the pair, Akira spoke first.

"Heh heh...Heinreich...isn't she a BIT too young for you?"

Heinrich scowled at the dual situations.

"If you are referring to any even remotely sexual in that statement..." He growled.

He sighed.

"Charity, this is Akira and his 'companion,' Iris. Akira, Iris, this is an aquaintence of mine, Charity. And no, our relationship is not what you think it is."

He looked at her. "I almost consider you my daughter sometimes Charity."

Charity smiled at the both of them and said a quick hi then turned to Heinrich as she heard him say something about him considering her as a daughter.

She meerly laughed at this, saying, "Yeah I know. That's why you always piss me off and lecture me about those boring stuffs about... what was that you were lecturing me about just now?"

She gave up on trying to ask Heinrich if she could sit beside him and just took the blessedly damn chair and sat down on it. She took the menu and scanned it, debating about what she should eat.

Akira smirked and Iris rolled her eyes.

She stood at her full height, to show off her "goddessness".

"I would think that loitering around here is pointless. Aren't we supposed to be going and killing that Y'Golonac? NEED I remind you that he was going to do GOD KNOWS what to me!?"

She leaned on Akira's shoulder, pouting and batting her eyes.

"Oh please oh please back me up on this!"

Heinrich scowled, but this was a soft scowl, for Charity's sake.

"Someday you will learn..."

As for Iris and Akira, he looked up at them and said, "You have forgotten already? We are awaiting N and the professor to deliver us the necessary weapons to deal with the situation. Besides, we cannot fight on an empty stomach now can we?"

He looked to Charity, seated next to him. "Its a long story," he said to her.

Iris did her smug voice again.

"Ah, the needs of MERE MORTALS, needing to EAT such paltry things to sustain themselves. I pity you."

Akira scratched his head.

"But, don't you gods have big feasts all the ti-AY!"

He screeched as she stepped on his foot hard.

"OW!"

Heinrich scowled again.

"Charity, at you are a better person than these two," he said to her, leaning in and whispering in her ear.

Conner waved his hand at the taxi driver to stop. he wanted a vacation from Advent City, so he came to Vander"S Mill for a break. he had ordered the taxi driver to stop in front of a resturant, he saw an older man and a young girl sitting at a table, and another two standing and talking to them.

"Seems like a nice place," Conner thought. "Im sure they have something nice to eat."

He paid the Taxi driver, and left to eat at the resturant, sitting close to the group so that he could listen in on their conversation. he knew that eavesdropping wasnt the best thing to do, but never-the-less, he was curious.

Akira was babbaling inanely about one thing or another, the annoyed looking Heinreich simply looking grumpy as he whispered to Charity.

Iris, however, smiled. She leaned back a bit, taking a long sip of her drink.

As she finished she spoke.

"You know, Akira, don't you think Eavesdropping is really rude?"

He blinked.

"Ah..um...yeah, I guess. Unless your like the Hardy Boys. They eavesdrop all the the time and"-

"Yes, but otherwise, its very rude."

"Well yeah, I would say so."

"In fact..."

Iris continued, her voice mischivous.

"If anyone was going to eavesdrop on a conversation that I was having I would be very upset. I may have to...hurt that person...unless they admit their crime...and repent."

Akira shrugged, gulping down another glass of water.

Conner sat, sipping his coffee, holding the mug in his right hand, his left hand in a fist, supporting his head on the table.

"they're on to me" he thought.

Conner said, "Well, you are talking kind of loud, and it is rather annoying, therefore making it my business, so im not really eavesdropping. Now mind your little converation."

he took another sip of his coffee, knowing that he probably just picked a fight, and closed his eyes, meditated for a few seconds to clear his mind and increase his reflexes and senses.

Heinrich looked up, and raised an eyebrow.

"And who might you be, dear sir?"
