Okay, guys - this is my first, fairly rough attempt at fitting together all the different arcs into one timeline that works for us (i.e. one spaced out over two years). It's fairly prospective, at the moment, so let me know if something doesn't work for you, or doesn't work for logic, or... yeah.. is stupid.

Incidentally, the Spider-man stuff isn't on here yet, because we're still figuring out where it shoud fit. We haven't forgotten Peter though, really!

Alright

2003
  • January: Wolverine escapes from Weapon X (Wolverine)
  • March: Power and Responsibility (Spider-Man)
The origins of Spider-Man and his first battle with the Green Goblin.
  • April: Team-Up (Spider-Man) (Wolverine)
Spider-Man and Wolverine have a run-in with Sabretooth and Weapon X fiends; Spider-Man and the Hulk duke it out.
  • May: Learning Curve (Spider-Man)
Spider-Man takes on the Kingpin and his band of cronies (including merc-for-hire Electro), Peter joins the Bugle staff as web dork and reveals his secret to MJ.
  • June – September: The Tomorrow People (X-men)
The newly formed X-Men take on the US Government's Sentinel Initiative and the megalomaniacal Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants.
  • October: Double Trouble (Spider-Man)
Up to his elbows in villains, Spider-Man had the dubious task of stopping Doc Ock while being hunted by Kraven the Hunter on national television.
2004
  • February: Legacy (Spider-Man)
The return of Norman and Harry Osborn means the Green Goblin isn't far behind. Nothing more dangerious than a villain who knows your identity…
  • March-April: Return to Weapon X (X-men)
Captured by the US Government sanctioned Weapon X Program, the X-Men are forced into serving as the Governments living weapons.
  • May: Superhuman (Ultimates)
The US Government sets up its own superhuman initiative, spearheaded by the triumphant resurrection of their greatest national hero, Captain America.
    Public Scrutiny (Spider-Man)
A Spider-Man impersonator is only the beginning of Spider-Man's problems as the shit starts hitting the fan…
  • June: Venom (Spider-Man)
Just when Spider-Man thought he'd caught a break by remeeting an old friend and learning moer about his dad's research, it all just goes to hell in a handbasket.
  • Late July-August: World Tour (X-men)
The X-Men embark on a trip across the planet to promote Charles Xavier's new book only to come face to face with his darkest and most shameful secret.
  • Approximately Beginning of August: Superhuman (Ultimates)
In a misguided attempt to justify their funding, Bruce Banner turns himself into the Hulk and goes on a rampage through Manhattan. The Ultimates save the day.
  • September: Hellfire and Brimstone (X-men)
A team member goes missing, presumed dead, and turmoil hits the team when The Hellfire Club seeks to control the Phoenix within Jean.
    Team Up (Daredevil) (Spider-man)
Frank Castle, aka the Punisher, escapes from his maximum security jail. Daredevil takes it upon himself to bring this cop killer to justice, but Castle adds two more to his list before being subdued. Spidey... well, he gets in the way.
  • October - January: Ultimate War and Return of the King (X-men), (Ultimates)
Believed to have joined forces with Magneto's terrorist group The Brotherhood, The Ultimates are dispatched to eliminate the X-Men. The history between Erik Lensherr and Charles Xavier is revealed when Magneto makes another attempt at overthrowing humanity.
2005
  • February: Irresponsible (Spider-Man) (X-men)
A party goes crazy when a possible mutant pseudo-attacks, then the X-Chicks show up… then the plane blows up… Spider-Man just can't catch a break! Oh well, at least he has MJ again.
  • March: Blockbuster (X-men) (Spider-Man) (Daredevil)
Wolverine comes under attack from a mysterious group of mercenaries claiming to have ties to his past, guest starring Spider-Man.
  • April: Cats & Kings (Spider-Man) (Black Cat & Elektra)
The Kingpin returns, exonerated for his crimes. But that's just one piece of an increasingly irritating puzzle, especially when Black Cat and Elektra get involved.
    Homeland Security (Ultimates)
A covert long-term alien invasion (dating back to WW2) is uncovered, and once again, the Ultimates are dispatched to fight it, this time with newly revealed black ops members. The Hulk saves the day.
    Hollywood (Spider-Man)
The making of a Spider-Man movie sparks excitement for many and annoyance for Spider-Man and Doc Ock. The latter makes his not-so-triumphant return and Kong makes a cameo.
  • Late May: The Fantastic (Fantastic Four)
Reed Richards’ experiments investigating teleportation go horribly wrong, catapulting himself and four friends across the world and into strange new bodies.
  • June: New Mutants (X-men)
Concerned by the possibility that Charles Xavier may be mentally controlling the President, the government forms its own mutant team, lead by Boston schoolteacher Emma Frost.
