Yakosi's eyelids twitched slightly as the sun's rays darted across her face in greeting to a new dawn, the light transforming the color she had seen of black into a blinding red as she stared drowsily into the back of her eyelids, refusing to awaken until at last, she could no longer avoid the interruption of the morning's light. Yako's eyes flashed open and her head lifted slightly off the ground and swayed in confusion.
Where am I? What happened? She questioned herself for answers unkown. She remembered being captured, the plane... sleep... and her head fell back to her paws as she shut her vision out from the world hoping for another minute or two in silent slumber. This was impossible, however, as the bright golden sun had awoken the birds which now chittering in delight to the new morning and irked the drowsy wolf still under the influence of the shots the humans had put her though so that she could no longer attempt sleep. Opening her eyes again, this time permanent, Yako felt her vision sway like on a ship several times and her stomach moaned complaints to make the earth stop moving so fast. Her body felt like lead and as if she were falling down a black hole, or down a sink swirling with water that she was riding on since she couldn't see anything clearly and everything seemed to be going down with her.
Ugh... This isn't fright- no, no that's not the word, what's the word I'm looking for? It's like... correct or something right? Hey! Right's the word! Wait... What was I doing... Huh? I'm confused... What did they do to me?! Yakosi asked herself again, referring to the humans who had put her here as her sight jolted to the right and her head pierced with a throbbing pain as it fell a little down towards her numb paws. Why can't I feel my feet? She wondered in curiosity. DAMMIT! WHO KEEPS SHAKING THE EARTH?! Make it stop! I don't like it. Her mind shouted as the wolf's black eyes clenched shut and her stomach gave an unwelcomed lurch that brought a sickening taste into her mouth.
Another minute passed in which Yakosi was slowly regaining her body's functions and feeling came back to her gray paws. The first thing her eyes saw when they came into clear focus was... Ants. Millions of tiny red ants were crawling all over her paws, their multiple legs sending a tingling feeling through her body. Normally, Yako would have been horrified at this, but since the shots were still taking their toll on her, she merely grunted in her mind, Ants... How lovely... Ouch. I think that one bit me... More time passed and the Timber wolf began feeling a bit more like herself, she was no longer asking herself dumb questions and thinking swear words. Her mind was gradually making its way towards normal. After another minute or so, Yakosi glimpsed her legs and saw that they were moving and she gave a frightened yelp as she was bitten again, this time the pain more intense as the ants tried to make away with her flesh. She leapt to her paws, many of the ants falling off of her and she started running around in circles trying frantically to rid herself of the pests. If another wolf had spotted her then, Yako was sure they would think her insane, but at the moment, she partly felt like she was crazy due to the bites the ants kept creating so it didn't matter to her what they thought or not.
The gray female wolf dropped to the ground and began rolling around in the dirt, squishing many more of the red ants that had clutched her body, unwilling to leave the food of warm flesh they had thought to be dead. "GET OFF!!!" She shrieked angrily and falling into a sitting position in the blink of an eye, she began to gnaw at the insects until the last one died.
In victory over the ants, the triumphant Yakosi decided, that for her own prize, she should be able to relax and bask in the sunlight. For the first time, Yako noticed she was surrounded by trees with many unique scents. There was the usual, cedar, redwood, oak and elm trees with which the female wolf reckognised instantly by heart, but then there were a few she had no idea what they were and so made a mark in her mind to steer clear of them until she discovered the plants were nontoxic. She was standing in a clearing too as her dark eyes roved the scene again. Tall grasses in a variety of color swept just beneath her underbelly as Yako stood up to gaze across the terra she found herself in. There were hills and the female grinned in approval to their steep slopes as she imagined racing up and down their crust, plowing through the sea of amber, emerald, and golden grass as the wind brushed through her pelt smooth as silk.
It was then that Yako scented other wolves and her whole behavior changed. It was suddenly more alert and tense. If she was found, standing in the middle of a territory where she had not been welcomed, she could be thought an intruder and be cast out or killed for her deliberate entry. They may not believe her if she told them that she had simply awoken to find herself here. How far stretched would the truth seem from their point of view? A wild story? Just a lie? Could they possibly find that she was telling the truth for she herself was having difficulty grasping the matter...

Great. So you fell for Lekoti. Now what? You're her mate? Duuuude, you need a life Dingo muttered boredly. Hunter's ears were laid back as he walked. He did not want to speak to Dingo for the matter. True, he had fallen in love with Lekoti, but what was wrong with that? Could Dingo not let him be? With a slow shrug of his shoulders, Hunter slackened his pace and a small yawn rolled out of his jaws. He blinked his eyes gently, his rather petite paws hit the hard soil silently. His curled tail was well... curled upon his back. Hunter's brown eyes were shiny as the ray's of the sun kissed his slim form. Ever since this dingo came here, he'd changed a lot. He actually wanted to make friends. But right now he was feeling rather pekish, so it wouldn't be wise to anger him at the moment. Pink tongue swept around his lips and his gaze flickered from tree to tree. Then a loud voice echoed into his ears and it stood erect. His heart thudded inside his chest and he stopped dead in his tracks. Who, who was that? he thought and frowned lightly. What a way to ruin his mood. He hated loud noises in the morning. Hopefully Hunter wouldn't get more annoyed. Soon he began to move again, his hips swayed in motion and his head was hanging down slightly. He was sniffing. Then he raised his head and greeted the morning sun with his gaze again. He loved it. Soon enough his gaze fell upon a grey figure. He stretched his neck out to look closer and sniffed the air. Great, the wind was blowing towards her and his scent would surely be passed on towards her. He slowly slunk towards a tree and hid behind it, watching the female rather curiously now. What was she going to do about his presence. Threaten him?
Hunter's ears were slightly laid back and his eyes were wide with a gleam of sheer excitement. Why the excitement? either he'd end up in a fight, or he'd make another friend. Good deal he thought. What is? Either ending up in a fight or making a new friend? You call that a good deal? Ha! Dingo laughed menacingly. Well, I'd expect that from you, you soft tard! You've got a soft heart man, not from what you usta be. Man, why do I bother? he sneered. Hunter's lips twitched a little and he was growling inwardly. Yeah, why do you bother? he said menacingly and shook his head. You truly are an idiot. Hunter, man, can't you see? You usta be so tough an' all. But now... now you're... you're...arghh Dingo wasn't bothered to finish his sentence so he left off there. So be it, you fuckhead. he muttered silently and silence took over him. His muscles were a little tensed and his fur was bristling because of Dingo. That jerk. Couldn't he just leave him be? Pah! Like that'd ever happen! I'll never leave yo side. Not 'til you get some sense into you! 'Member the old days? Where we usta hurt? Those were the days man, those were the days Dingo insisted. Those days'll come back some day, but now just let me... make some friends Hunter said silently. F-friends?! Dingo snarled enraged. Dingo you could say was Hunter's darker side. Who needs friends? They're worthless. Stupid. Idiots. Who needs 'em when you can rule the world? Hunter's fur bristled even more. He was offended. Hey you, buttface, everyone would want friends, or at least some company. Hunter said and glared. He then eased his expression, seeing as Dingo had shut up. It was about time...

Yakosi stood stiff as a statue while sniffing the breeze rushing towards her tentively, gathering information about the wolves and others that resided here. As the wind swept through her coat, she caught the drift of a wild dog of some breed, for the scent was definately not wolf and this puzzled her. She had never before seen a dog or dingo in her life. Just the regular deer, squirril, birds and the occasional aquaintance of her own kind so to meet a breed simliar to her, but not exactly, thrilled and frightened the Timber wolf at the same time at the unkown.
Now completely back to normal, and ant free, Yako remained positioned where she was, knowing the creature was moving towards her. She felt a small shiver of delight run down her spine and prickle her thick silver fur as she waited patiently for the arrival of the dingo. She almost yipped out of excitement, but restrained the urge. If there was another out there, that was growing closer, there would be no need. It was just a pointless way to express herself, and what a petty way in her opinion and she now felt almost disgusted at herself. Almost if it hadn't been that she was still anxious. Her tail zig-zagged across the autumn breeze that swirled with fire orange, gold, and brick red leaves that had been pulled off from the branches of trees.
I hope someone comes quickly... I'd like to get this over with. Just tell me if I'm welcome or not sort of thing... Her mind thought to herself as she began pacing slightly to rid herself of all her built up energy.

Yakosi turned as she thought to continue pacing, but there stood the dingo she had scented earlier, and his sudden appearance nearly startled her, and he would have if she hadn't mastered the impulse of surprise long ago.
The dingo announced greetings to her by introducing himself as Hunter and his smile reassured her that she would most likely not be attacked or requested to leave the territory. He then told her she hadn't trespassed and that statement furthure relaxed the wolf, but a thin line of puzzlement creased her forhead. How did he know that I was anxious about that? Her mind consulted her with the unkown as if expecting answers. She shrugged the matter away and thought it best if she introduced herself, as he had been polite enough to do so, she should return the favor correct?
"Nice to meet you Hunter. My name is Yako. Can you read minds, or else, please, amuse me to how you knew I feared of being an intruder?" She asked in a teasing tone, knowing the dingo could not be a mind reader. Those things were just myth, right? After being captured by humans, stuffed into a crate, awakening to find herself somewhere she'd never been to, having her mind acting like a fuzzy fog, Yakosi was beginning to believe anything was possible.

Hunter laughed. "My match, eh?" Ears perked up again as Yako spoke once more. Hunter tilted his head to the side and looked to the ground. For a heartbeat or two he was silent, but then his smile reappeared. "Actually, I am part of the pack. For now anyway," he paused a little bit before he parted his jaws once more, "Hm... I enjoy the company of either actually." Hunter answered and nodded after he finished speaking. A light breeze swept past them and it swished through Hunter's fur, thus sending a chill down his spine. A small yawn escaped from his vocals and he chuckled lightly for his rudeness, "Sorry 'bout that" he said and licked his lips gently. His curled tail gave small flicks to the side. His ears pulled back as a flock of birds flew overhead. That's odd, you don't see those everyday... he thought silently and shrugged it off, his ears standing erect again.
Maybe it's soon Winter, you dope! Dingo said quietly and Hunter felt uneasy. Yeah, well, it's still Fall for the time being Hunter replied silently and his gaze returned to Yako. Her fur color seemed so unique to him, that's because almost all dingos looked the same. His tail stopped wagging and it was limp behind him. His ears twitched a little and he saw a squirrel somewhere behind Yako. But then it dashed off. No use of chasing it now he muttered silently and sighed inwardly. This is so boring.... can't be terrorize someone? Hunter would've rolled his eyes, but he didn't, not in front of Yako. No. was Hunter's simple reply and Dingo spat angrily. Why not!? he demanded. Hunter chuckled inwardly, a gleam of amusement in his eyes. Because we can do that another day... besides, it's not like you got your own body to control... Dingo half gasped at what Hunter said. You fiend! Fine then... and then there was silence.

Hunter watched the sky for a while longer before his gaze returned to Yakosi. He tilted his head lightly and nodded, "Yeah, I know," he then raised an invisible brow at her next question. "Well, to tell the truth I have no idea. I've only met two wolves, Kokoa and yourself, and one dingo, Lekoti. I'm quite new around here, you?" he said and waited for Yako's reply. Fall was a wonderful season to him and he actually enjoyed it. Unlike Winter and all, he hated Winter and Spring. Summer and Fall were like his favorite seasons. His lips were still curved into a smile. Ugh... yeah... so why do you like Fall so much? Dingo asked curiously. Hunter rolled his eyes inwardly and sighed inwardly as well.
It's so peaceful y'see Hunter explained silently and Dingo simply grunted in reply. Well, you could at least have been greatful for the answer Hunter said sarcastically. When pigs fly I'll see you in heaven and say 'thank you'. Dingo snorted and Hunter sighed inwardly once more. "So, Yako, interested in joining the pack? I'm sure Kokoa will be delighted to have a new member! Hunter said cheerfully and his eyes brightened up. Ugh, you idiot. Acting all cheerful as if nothing's wrong! Well, there isn't anything wrong, you idiot! Hunter remarked. You're acting like a softie, that's what's wrong! Can't you see? Dingo snapped. Hunter remained silent and simply waited for Yakosi's reply. At least her voice made him feel better after dealing with Dingo.
